00:00I mean, one of the things that I love from doing this is that when you are a fluent and capable reader,
00:09it's very difficult to put yourself into the situation where you imagine what that would be like if that was taken away from you.
00:16And working with David has really helped me to understand that process.
00:21I'd just like to commend David for his hard work and his diligence.
00:26He's been coming in on a bike, how many miles is it roughly?
00:32That's six.
00:33That's six miles. So we've done 55 sessions and he started, I think, during the winter.
00:42And you can imagine what kind of winter we've had.
00:45He's now got an electric bike, so he now gets it early.
00:50I used to be able to go into the library, put my feet up, choose a book and wait for David.
00:56Because obviously, depending on weather conditions, if you're cycling up a hill and a gale force wind's coming, you don't go so fast.
01:03Now he's got an electric bike, he gets there before I do.
01:07But his diligence and the amount of effort he's put into it has been absolutely fantastic.
01:15Learning for me, because I've never done this, I was a teacher, but I've never kind of taught in that detail way before.
01:23But I just want to say, well done David, and you thoroughly deserve all the credit.
