00:00And now, the BET Awards presents the in-memoriam inclusion no one expected.
00:06We must also honor the black excellence that we unfortunately lost this year.
00:14Well, that fits about as well as a bloody glove.
00:16And the families of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman aren't happy.
00:20During any award show, they always have like an in-memoriam segment where they feature, highlight people that have passed away.
00:27A lot of people were surprised to see O.J. Simpson as one of the people highlighted.
00:31Pretty sure even O.J. would be like, really?
00:34So, I spoke to Fred Goldman, Ron's dad, and also Tanya Brown, Nicole's sister.
00:39They thought it was disgusting that they highlighted an abuser, a murderer.
00:44They both said that the BET Awards should apologize.
00:47So, should O.J. have been included?
00:50If you're a black celebrity and you die, you make that list.
00:53And if you don't make that list, BET gets dragged to hell.
00:56I don't think they would have been dragged if they omitted O.J.
00:59It would have got brought up.
01:00Someone would have listed all his college and NFL accomplishments and said, yeah, he belongs here, he's a celebrity.
01:07Well, if people think this one's iffy, just wait until the Oscars has to deal with the passing of these guys.
01:12Woody Allen is interesting because Woody Allen hasn't been charged with anything.
01:17Yet, there's this kind of dividing line in Hollywood.
01:22They will definitely put up Woody Allen.
01:23The Oscars gave Roman Polanski best director.
01:25He acknowledges he did sleep with a 13-year-old.
01:27They would still put him in the Inmemorium for sure.
01:29I don't think they would put Harvey Weinstein up.
01:31And what about this guy?
01:33Would Bill Cosby be in the Emmys?
01:35There's no way.
01:36Now, what's the difference between O.J. and Bill Cosby in that sense?
01:39Once you let in Bill, you have to let Harvey Weinstein into the Oscars.
01:42So, thanks O.J. Seriously, thanks a lot.
