00:00♪ I'm working late, cause I'm a singer. That's me, it's Russell. ♪
00:07Why are you backwards?
00:14Hey Vogue, this is Molly Gordon and this is my I'm just getting by look.
00:18I'm gonna put these clips in.
00:21I usually love to light a candle to kind of set an energy for me to be alone to put on my makeup.
00:26I'm loving this one, my friend Mitra gave it to me.
00:29And the energy is set.
00:32Then, if I wake up and I look like a ghost that was murdered,
00:37I'm very lucky that my makeup artist hooked me up with this TheraFace.
00:48You know, I used some fancy cleansers and things, but I just always go back to the original, the OG, what I used in middle school.
01:00I put on this SOS spray and it kind of just wakes me up a little bit more.
01:09So then I'm going to use some Avene.
01:11We should all have a Google Doc as ladies to kind of talk about the journey that you take in your late 20s
01:20of getting back to the acne that you had when you were 13 and it shocks you.
01:25And ultimately a pimple can rock a day.
01:27Next, I'm going to use this retinol.
01:33Oh, I'm getting a call.
01:35Hey.
01:38I'm doing my makeup for one of those Vogue things.
01:44Yeah.
01:45Do you have anything to say to them?
01:50If you had to say something that you've learned about makeup, what would you share?
01:54Are you serious right now?
01:56Yeah.
01:57What I've learned about makeup is that you have to find what works for you, you know, and you also have to always put something in front of your face.
02:08Oh yeah, I haven't been doing that.
02:10We've been sending each other videos every morning of procedures that we're not going to get.
02:15But all to say, Io and I might come back next year with completely different faces.
02:21And I just want to be honest that that's going to happen.
02:24Because I'm just like, I don't know what I don't really know.
02:30Oh, you're right.
02:31Fuck.
02:32That's a don't.
02:33That's a don't.
02:34Wait, but I quickly before you go to set.
02:36What was that lip combo you were wearing the other night that I went?
02:39Okay.
02:45Yeah.
02:46Okay.
03:09It was so delicious.
03:11It was delicious.
03:13It was delicious.
03:14It was giving some muggers.
03:15It was delicious.
03:16Call me after this video.
03:18Okay.
03:19This is obviously all getting cut.
03:21Obviously.
03:22No, it's all printed.
03:23This is shot on film.
03:24Don't worry.
03:25I do love you so much.
03:26Thanks.
03:27We're very lucky that she just tuned into that because we've been very lost without her.
03:30Let's dive into eye cream.
03:31I use like this much.
03:35I feel like I wish I wore more sunscreen when I was younger.
03:38I wish I used more eye cream.
03:40And I'm trying to like take it really seriously now because I be seeing it on my face.
03:45I look tired and the show does intense close-ups, which are a beautiful way to shoot.
03:52But sometimes I'm like, oh, that girl does not look well.
03:55I'm going to put on some sunscreen.
03:59I love Aquaphor.
04:00If you know me, you know, I have like 75 in my bag at all times.
04:03I'm always offering it to people.
04:06So first I think I'm going to do my eye makeup, which has been a real journey for me.
04:12I used to wear very intense Amy Winehouse thick eyeliner for like all of middle school and all of high school.
04:19And then one day I was like too tired to put it on.
04:23So I just went to school with no makeup.
04:25And this guy came up to me and he was like, you look really tired today, Molly.
04:28And I was like, okay, I guess I'm going to wear that for the rest of my life.
04:31So that stopped about a year ago.
04:33And now I'm rocking a more natural look.
04:35I underline my top line with the Westman Atelier liner in brown.
04:41So it's not so intense.
04:48Great.
04:49And then I'm going to take this Chanel eyeliner and attempt this.
04:58How cute is this?
05:00But I keep my mini Q-tips in here for eyeliner.
05:05I'm fixing it, but I've ultimately taken it all off.
05:08So that's great.
05:09It's not really even, but that is not what we're going for.
05:12We're going for that we have done it and we have attempted it.
05:15So then next I usually do the Chanel water tints.
05:19And I mix two colors.
05:21Like kind of like that much, this much.
05:24I just like to be able to see your actual skin.
05:28I think embracing.
05:30Oh, and I am working late because I'm a singer.
05:35That really just happened.
05:37Okay.
05:40So things happen.
05:47Okay.
05:48We've gotten rid of what the fuck that was.
05:51Take two of the water tints.
05:53Next, I'm going to do NARS concealer.
05:56I've been using this for probably 20 years.
06:08And then if I want to do a little bit more coverage,
06:11I'll do this Hollywood flawless filter by Charlotte Tilbury.
06:15And I'll just kind of like put a little bit everywhere.
06:23I think I'm also too old to be doing this, but let's do some freckles.
06:29Just kind of accentuating what I already have.
06:35On the bare, it's very natural makeup, which I love.
06:38But yeah, I would love to do something that's like period piece
06:41or something like Moulin Rouge or like playing a crazy character role
06:46and have wild makeup.
06:48So now I'm going to go in with this bronzer.
06:51Makes all of the like other stuff just look a little bit more lived in.
07:01Next, I'm going to mix these two Chanel blushes.
07:04I love blush, sometimes overdoing blush.
07:10So then if I've like put on a little too much blush,
07:12sometimes I'll like just go back in with this randomly
07:16to kind of just be like, let's calm that down.
07:18And then I also, this I've been using since I was like 11.
07:22It's the best.
07:23And it just makes you feel like you've been kissed.
07:32Next, we're going to do mascara.
07:37I'm going to use the Anastasia Beverly Hills brow gel.
07:39I used to pluck my brows.
07:42I used to get them waxed.
07:43I used to do the whole thing and then hives down my face.
07:46It was honestly, when I started trying to act professionally,
07:50like maybe getting a job or two,
07:53a makeup artist was like, please never touch your brows.
07:56Please never do anything with them.
07:58And that was like a time stopped.
08:00It was like everything everywhere all at once.
08:02And I was like, I will not touch my brows.
08:05And from that point on, I haven't.
08:07Now highlighter.
08:09Been kind of almost summer.
08:12And let's get a little flirty and fun.
08:15Sometimes I'll put a little bit like in the corner of my eye.
08:20And now let's get into lips.
08:22Obviously the least original thought ever.
08:26I'm a pillow talk girl.
08:28And I'll kind of overline my lips.
08:31I have a mole on my lip.
08:33Everyone asks me if it's chocolate because I'm always eating.
08:37I'll put some Aquaphor on.
08:40And then maybe I'll go back in with the Benetint.
08:44We're kind of done with the makeup side.
08:46So then I would set it with this Tatcha spray.
08:51Then I'm going to take out these clips.
08:54I'm going to take this rose oil.
08:57And if I put too much on my hands, I'll also put it on my body.
09:01And kind of put it through my hair.
09:07This is the Everyday Oil.
09:09It's really delish and smells really good.
09:12And is all natural and is lovely.
09:15Thank you so much for having me, Vogue.
09:17I want to thank the cast of this video.
09:19Me, Iowa Debre, these peonies.
09:22I hope everyone has a fantastic summer.
09:25I'm putting on my hat.
09:27Facts forever.
09:29And I'm ready to go.
09:31Bye, Vogue!
