China’s Foreign Ministry on Tuesday urged the Philippines to “take effective measures” to protect Chinese citizens in the country after a Chinese national was kidnapped and murdered.
The Chinese victim was kidnapped along with a Chinese-American recently, who was also killed, according to a statement issued on Tuesday by the Chinese Embassy in Manila.
