00:00The York on Fullwood Road in Broomhill has undergone a renovation.
00:07The pub was sold by True North Brew earlier this year.
00:10For the new owners, it marks a new partnership between two breweries, Kirkstall and Five Points.
00:17The owners revealed plans earlier this year to give the pub a bit of a facelift.
00:22Just over two weeks and £100,000 later, the pub has now reopened to the public.
00:28A grand reopening party is set to take place on Friday 5th July.
00:33However, the star were allowed to visit the premises to have a look at some of the work.
00:37While there are still some finishing touches to be made,
00:40the owners' hopes of creating a cosier, warmer and more welcoming premises certainly has paid off.
00:47The new owners have also been working hard on creating a new menu.
00:51One of the owners, Steve Holt, said that he wanted to create a pub that served good food
00:56rather than a restaurant that served beer.
00:59The pub also previously opened at 4pm and will now be opening for lunchtime.
01:04This means that there are more small plate options that have been added to the menu.
01:08For around 40 years, Steve has been collecting memorabilia and antiques from breweries across the country.
01:14This includes items from Sheffield's former Gilmore Brewery, which was bought out by Tetley in the 50s.
