00:00A mixed bag of excitement and nerves at the minute, I mean we're only 20 minutes or so

00:06away from opening the doors for the first time, so we just can't wait to get the doors

00:10open and welcome all the local community back in.

00:13Fabulous, and how have you, what's your experience been with the community so far of people being

00:21excited to see you open?

00:22Yeah, yeah we have had lots of comments, we've bumped into quite a few of them around the

00:27village and we've had loads of comments on the post on Facebook and lots of people asking

00:31questions.

00:32We've had loads of bookings for the new menu already, I think we've got about 5 or 6 tables

00:36already booked in for opening evening tonight from about 5 o'clock onwards.

00:42So yeah, the kitchen, we've already got plenty of customers to feed, those empty bellies

00:48filled up.

00:49Brilliant, it's going to be a busy night then.

00:52It is, well hopefully it's going to be a busy weekend, I mean the sun's out, garden's looking

00:56fantastic, you know, just can't wait to get everybody back in.

01:00But yeah, it looks so brilliant out here and inside as well.

01:04Have you got a favourite part that's been renovated, is there like a favourite area?

01:09Yeah, I mean there's so many good areas, but the sunken garden where the telly is, I mean

01:16that area was quite dilapidated before, now the renovation team have done a fantastic

01:24job.

01:25So we've got the big telly for the Euros this summer, we'll get the place packed and hopefully

01:31England can bring it home for once.

01:34Yeah, that would be good.

01:37Mind you, you'll definitely have your work cut out for you if they do.

01:42Definitely.

01:43Oh brilliant, and do you want to just give a little summary of some of the plans you've

01:49got for the pub for the future, some of the events?

01:53Yeah, there's something happening every day of the week, whether it's quiz night, which

01:58is still going to be Thursday night as it was before, rock and roll bingo, pool night,

02:04we're hoping to get a pool team going again, darts team going again, poker night's on Monday

02:09as well, so a full event, full weeks of event from Monday to Sunday, something different

02:15for everybody.

02:16Fantastic, and is this a place for anyone, is it family friendly, is it good for students,

02:22young professionals?

02:23Yeah, everybody's welcome, families, we've got a kids menu, senior citizens menu, we

02:31cater for everybody in the bar with food as well, dog friendly as well, we've got a lane

02:38just up at the side which is very popular with people, you know, parking in the morning,

02:43taking the dogs up, so yeah, everybody's welcome.
