00:05A student from Pangasinan was caught red-handed

00:09when he was found dead in a vacant lot in La Union.

00:13The victim's body was burned and it was revealed that he was also hit by a hard object on his head.

00:18He was also seen with a wound on his forehead that was caused by an ice pick.

00:31The body of this man was burned when he was found in a vacant lot

00:35a few meters away from the road in Barangay Quirino, Bacnotan, La Union.

00:39The 21-year-old victim was a student at Tubong Pozorubio, Pangasinan.

00:44The victim's body was discovered after he was seen by a truck driver who was being pulled to this location.

00:51According to the police, on the afternoon of July 1, the victim said goodbye to his parents

00:56before climbing the cliff where he studied.

00:59It was 8 a.m. on July 2 when his body was found.

01:04It is not yet clear how the victim was infected with the virus.

01:08In the first investigation, it was revealed that he was hit by a hard object on his forehead and head.

01:14He was also seen with a wound on his forehead that was caused by an ice pick.

01:18The authorities are investigating if the victim is dead or alive before he was burned.

01:23We are encouraging the parents to conduct an autopsy

01:28so we can find out the cause of death of the victim.

01:33Although the police has a person of interest and motive, they were not the first to investigate.

01:39We investigated three locations, Baguio, Pozorubio and here in La Union.

01:46We sent our tracker teams to each location to conduct an investigation.
