00:16Annalyn has been enrolled in the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program or 4Ps for more than a year.

00:214Ps is said to be a big help to her family, especially now that she has a child in elementary and senior high school.

00:47But Annalyn admits that even though she has 4Ps, they are still in need.

01:25In the middle of increasing the price of goods, the DSWD is studying the possible adjustments

01:31to the grants given to 4Ps beneficiaries.

01:34The DSWD and the National Economic Development Authority are also studying

01:38how much or how many percent the possible increase is.

01:42The Department of Social Welfare and Development is helping the National Economic and Development Authority

01:48to present our proposed adjustments to the cash grants.

01:53But this is for the approval of our President and our economic managers.

01:59For now, we're still finalizing the adjustments to the grants

02:06since this will require sufficient funds.

02:09If their recommendations are approved, it's possible that this will be implemented in 2026.

02:14At the same time, the DSWD is also studying the possible amendments to the 4Ps law

02:19that will establish the mechanism of automatic adjustments to 4Ps grants

02:24depending on the rate of inflation or the speed of buying goods.

02:28For now, the 4Ps beneficiaries are receiving a grant of P300 to P700

02:33depending on the rate of the child's school.

02:36This will be supplemented by a P750 health grant and a P600 monthly rise allowance.

02:41For those who are pregnant and those who are just about to give birth,

02:44the DSWD will only approve of the increase in the health grant they are receiving.

02:49The DSWD has always made it clear that the 4Ps beneficiaries are not being doled out

02:56but are being paid according to their needs.
