00:00Hey guys, welcome back to DriveSpark, I'm Vedant Johari and now the bike right in front
00:18of me is the first CNG motorcycle in the world that's ever been released.
00:22This is the Bajaj Freedom 125 and I'm going to tell you more about this motorcycle in
00:27this video, so stay tuned.
00:36Now looking at the design right from the front end, this is the top end variant, so we get
00:40LED headlights in the front, disc brakes here, we get a telescopic suspension, on top of
00:46that we get this really nice paint scheme with this contrast stripes over here, we get
00:49the Freedom badging on the sides and on the centre is what's interesting, this is the
00:54tank for the CNG and the petrol, both housed in the same place, two litres of petrol and
01:00two kgs of CNG, the petrol is on the right and the CNG is on the left.
01:04So moving on from that, we get a kick on the side, we get a trellis frame throughout the
01:08motorcycle to add the whole ruggedness of the look and now finally coming to the rear
01:13view, we get LED indicators and now underneath the seat is where the CNG tank is stored,
01:19I'm going to show you guys that right now.
01:21Right here is where the CNG tank is, we get a battery over here, a small tool kit and
01:25all the fuses also underneath the seat.
01:28Now in terms of performance, the Freedom 125 puts out 9.5 PS and 9.7 Nm of torque.
01:34On CNG mode, the top speed is 95 kmph, however on the petrol mode, the top speed is 100 kmph.
01:40So now coming to the instrument cluster on the Freedom 125, we get a negative LCD display,
01:44now on this it shows us our total range, we get a total range of 330 km with the petrol
01:49and CNG both included, then on top of that we get our CNG meter over here, our petrol
01:55readings over here and all our basic readings that we get on the display such as speed,
01:59gear and your revs.
02:01Now while riding this, we can switch from CNG to petrol on the fly, we don't need to
02:04come to a stop or we don't need to switch the motorcycle off.
02:07We have this small button on the left side of our handlebar which controls which mode
02:11we're riding in, whether it's CNG or the petrol mode.
02:14On top of that, we get all our regular switchgears as we see in regular motorcycles.
02:18Now something cool about this display is that it also offers Bluetooth connectivity.
02:22So now, this is the exhaust note of the Bajaj Freedom 125.
02:32So this was on CNG mode and you can feel the throttle difference whether you're on CNG
02:35or petrol.
02:36Now on petrol mode, it sounds like this.
02:43So let us know what you think of the exhaust note in the comments section below.
02:49So now after speaking about the CNG tank, you guys might be wondering, how do we check
02:53the pressure or how do you know if there are any leaks?
02:55Well, on the side of the motorcycle, we have this small cap over here, we just pull that
02:59out and that shows us our pressure.
03:01Now, this bike has gone through 11 forms of testing, including a truck riding over the
03:07bike and there's been absolutely no leakage from the CNG tank, nor has the casing of the
03:12CNG tank or the tank in itself moved or got any damage.
03:17So, they've done a lot of R&D for the CNG tank and it clearly shows in the videos.
03:27All in all, this was the Bajaj Freedom 125.
03:30I hope you guys enjoyed this video, don't forget to like, comment and subscribe.
