00:00Blue Corner, presented in association with Campo Novo Sports, he weighed in at 134.7 pounds,
00:08wearing black trunks with burgundy trim. His record, 31 victories with two defeats,
00:1528 of those victories coming by way of knockout from Sinaloa, Mexico, Miguel El Explosivo Madueno!
00:30Introducing out of the Red Corner, he weighed in at 134.8 pounds,
00:41wearing red and black trunks. His record, 10 victories, no defeats, one no contest,
00:48seven of those victories coming by way of knockout. He is a U.S. Olympic silver medalist.
00:57He is the reigning and defending USBA, WBC USA, and WBO intercontinental lightweight champion,
01:09representing the seven cities in his hometown, Norfolk, Virginia, the businessman Keisha Davis!
01:27All right, seconds out, guys.
01:34Mouthpiece, mouthpiece. Trump's good, Trump's good. Gentlemen, go to the rules early and most
01:40important, protect yourself at all times, obey my commands at all times, and give me a good
01:45clean break. Good luck to you both. Touch them up. Tim Bradley, when we met with Miguel Madueno
01:50yesterday, he confidently said, I can beat Keisha if I set the tone early.
01:55I believe he will. You believe he will set the tone early? I believe he will attempt to,
01:59or at least try. You do not believe the first part of that statement. Madueno, listen to me,
02:02Madueno is going to do exactly what I do when I play Call of Duty. What? Call of Duty with my son,
02:09I don't know how to play. I just spray and pray. I pray I land something and it hurts my man,
02:18or kills my man. All right, here we go. Round number one, let's see if Miguel can keep up
02:24with that against the wildly skilled Keisha Davis. Madueno has some heavy hands, heavy hands now.
02:3228 knockouts. Davis last time we saw him was that six round TKO against Jose Pedraza. Jose Pedraza,
02:40a two-division, former two-division world champion. You think about Pedraza and what Pedraza
02:46has on his tool belt and what he's accomplished. I know the phase of his career he's at,
02:52but is Madueno of that class? He's not of that class, but he prescribes a different challenge,
03:00because he's a big 135 pounder. He's even fought as high as 154 pounds and was able to produce
03:07knockouts. I get it, it was against less competition, but that shows you that his
03:11power is real, that he's durable, and plus he's mentally tough. He's going to take some
03:16shots tonight from Keisha and he's going to continue to keep on coming, trying to land leather.
03:22Oh, good jab to the body from Davis. Stab jab was nasty, you heard it from him.
03:27Then he's able to duck under that right hand from Miguel. Oh, it's going to be target practice.
03:31It's going to be how much Madueno's going to be able to take over the course of 10 rounds.
03:36Drives down a right hand, he does bring a lot of offense with him when he gets to the inside,
03:40doesn't he? Tess, he throws 90 punches on average, 90 punches a round. Well, there's another side to
03:45that, Tim, and that is when you throw a lot of punches, you're opening yourself up and you
03:50squared up a lot to absorb a lot of punches. Now, last week, we were down there in Miami, there's a
04:03140 pound man off the ground. Exactly.
04:08But anyways, what I'm saying is last week, one of the central discussions we had on this crew
04:12was talking about Teofimo Lopez's opponent, Steve Klaget, and we kept referencing the fact that
04:19Steve Klaget had record-setting punch totals, that he had a fight where he connected with over
04:26500 punches. Well, Miguel was the target he hit. The guy who Steve Klaget landed 512 punches
04:34against, 417 of them were power shots, was the guy who's in the ring right now with Keyshawn Davis.
04:39Break, break, clean, break, clean, thank you. And he's applying the same pressure that Teo got
04:45through the course of the fight. I would say Klaget is a little bit better at it.
04:48He knows how to close the gap and cut off the ring. Miguel bravely going right into the kitchen
04:54throwing that right hand against Davis. However, Magueno hit a lot harder than Klaget.
05:04Another jab to the body and look at the defensive prowess of Keyshawn Davis to get away from
05:09all of this offensive power of Miguel Magueno.
05:18Look at this scene here at The Rock in Newark as everybody's getting set for these two world
05:23title fights set to come your way, including pound-for-pound elite Shakur Stevenson. Round
05:28number two for Keyshawn Davis against Miguel Magueno. In that first round, he had a 16-5
05:33connect advantage. Take us through what you saw, Timmy, in that first round from Keyshawn.
05:37So what you're going to see, what you're going to see, this is subtle right here,
05:40but this is called profiling. You profile your opposition. You know exactly where his head is.
05:47That short little shot on the inside by Keyshawn right there, that was smart. And then he gets
05:51real physical on the inside. You know, these are veteran tactics. Then the stab jab. We're going
05:56back to Floyd Mayweather. Floyd Mayweather started this off with that stab jab. That, what that does
06:01is stops your opponent's momentum from coming forward. And it buys you some time to be able
06:05to get out, reset, and regroup. Plus, it weakens them as well, Tess. As you know, going down to
06:10that body slowly drains your opponent's reserve. He had five of those in the first round. And then
06:17we were listening in to Bo Mack, Brian McIntyre, the trainer of Keyshawn. And he told him specifically,
06:24he said, every chance you have, I want you to stab him to the body.
06:30Keyshawn right now, he's going to have to, he's going to have to stab to the body,
06:33you know, to keep that momentum from coming forward. And you see Madreno reacting to the
06:38feints. However, he's not spooked. But that's the thing about Madreno. He's not going to go
06:42anywhere. Keyshawn's going to have to stand and choose and fight. Or even try to, even try to
06:47bag him up at some point in the fight. Most guys that like to come forward, they do not like to go
06:53backwards, Tess. So if you push him back, take him out of his element. Don't allow him to be strong
06:59and feel dominant, Tess.
07:12Lightweight division very much in our focus tonight with Keyshawn, with Adela,
07:16then Shakur Stevenson will defend his WBC title. Come out a little later. And at the end of this
07:22round, we will be in the locker room with Shakur. That's smart, going down to that body.
07:29Really, really smart by Keyshawn. Again, Madreno's not going to go anywhere. Madreno with the right
07:34hand to the body against Keyshawn. Keyshawn fires back. And that partially went behind the head.
07:40Because he knows he's not going to beat him in the speed department or the skill department.
07:43He knows that he's going to have to catch him in between his shots.
07:52Mark Regal. Yeah, I'm here with the champ. Shakur, we were a little bit surprised that
08:08your opponent Artem got a little chatty with you yesterday.
08:12I mean, he's supposed to do that. That's what he's supposed to do. He believes in himself. So
08:18let's see. I know that you bought a whole section for the boys and girls club of Newark.
08:25What do you want those kids to walk away tonight saying about you?
08:28That anything is possible, just because of where you come from. Don't let it deter
08:39where you're going. And, you know, just stay focused out here. Anything's possible.
08:44We're up on the set talking about how much pressure there is on you tonight to prove
08:47that last time was a fluke and all sorts of stuff. You don't look that nervous.
08:53Like I told you, I'm not focused on anything. I'm focused on displaying my talent.
09:03You think this goes a distance?
09:05I don't know. We'll see. The dude is a good fighter. Let's see what he brings to the table.
09:10Thank you very much, champ.
09:12Shakur Stevenson, the three-division world champion. Now, of course,
09:16he conquered the featherweight division, 130 pounds. We're going to see a title fighter
09:20130 pounds coming up in a moment. And now the WBC, the famed green belt, the WBC lightweight
09:26champion. When Mark Regal referenced the fact that, Timmy, that Hartoonian was getting a little chatty,
09:31Hartoonian has not backed down with his confidence and telling everybody what he
09:35thinks about this opportunity, saying all the pressures on Shakur, and I am very confident
09:40that I can hurt him. Well, you got to be able to land on it. I mean, that's big talk.
09:45Shakur Stevenson, as you can see, as you know, one of the hardest fighters to lay a glove on.
09:51Has the best plus minus in all boxing. There is an uppercut from Keyshawn Davis here early on in
09:57round number three against Miguel Madueno. And now the crowd roaring with every shot he lands.
10:04He has a 28 to 13 connect advantage. He's landed 12 power punches to this point.
10:10Yeah, Keyshawn is starting to find his mark.
10:14And he has been early. However, things are starting to slow down a bit. He's
10:18starting to get comfortable with the pressure that Madueno was putting on him.
10:21Now he's starting to set up shots on the inside, landing this combination.
10:24Oh, there's a good right hand. Off platform right hand from Keyshawn Davis.
10:30Stop, stop, break clean, break clean.
10:40And if the knockout comes, that's not going to come.
10:42There's a right hand now from Miguel as Keyshawn tries to turn away from it.
10:46That's exactly what Madueno needs to do. Make it rough and tough for the young Keyshawn Davis.
10:52Good defense right there against the ropes. I don't like Keyshawn standing up on the ropes like
10:56that with his chin exposed. He needs to tuck and cover and walk. Madueno's back to the center of
11:01the ring. He's dangerous right there. I mean, man, you better get off them ropes.
11:04Listen, it's elite upper body movement defensively,
11:08but you can also just use your legs and get out of that position.
11:11Well, you can misjudge a punch coming test and get clicked on the temple,
11:15on the eyes somewhere that can be harmful to you.
11:27Range fighting with that jab that he goes to the body, four punches to the body and start with the
11:31jab. Then he swept with the combination, just like Bulmax said to do. He's slowly weakening
11:36Madueno. That's what he's trying to do. Weaken him little by little. The knockout's not going to
11:39come right away. It's going to come on the back end. He got 10 rounds to do it or figure it out.
11:44He's going to slowly beat on him. Well, that left hand hit the mark as well.
12:01Terminator. I'm going to come forward the entire fight
12:05and I hope he fights too. You don't have to worry about that.
12:08The accuracy of Keyshawn Davis while swinging right hand from Miguel.
12:20From this huge crowd in Newark, we'll be coming up a little later on right here
12:24on ESPN. Pound for pound elite Shakur Stevenson on a night with two world title fights. Now we
12:29get a chance to see Keyshawn Davis, the undefeated title contender. Let's show you the competition.
12:37He's going to have to, you know, he's doing his best. Oh, he hurt him with that shot.
12:43Oh, the one-two splits the guard right hand. Now he goes to the body. Look at this offensive
12:50assault from Keyshawn Davis. Snapping back the head and rounding the head.
12:56He's going to have to, you know, he's doing his best. Oh, he hurt him with that shot.
13:01Look at this offensive assault from Keyshawn Davis.
13:04Snapping back the head at round number four. Good stuff from Keyshawn.
13:15Has he turned on the kill switch? It looks that way, Tess, after that sequence.
13:19Step back. Break clean. Thank you, guys.
13:25And yet there is Miguel sitting right in front of him time and again.
13:31He's a fight veteran.
13:40Davis is picking his spots here in round number four.
13:45Man, but Dwayne was like a, he's like a gnat you can't get rid of.
13:48He just all along, Keyshawn, just coming forward, taking shots.
13:52Punch combination backs him up and he walks right back into the heat of it
13:57and then fires right hands of his own.
14:09I like what I like from Keyshawn. I like his physical, his physical strength.
14:13He told us in a fight, I mean, I've been working on my physical.
14:15I've been lifting a lot of weights, you know, to get strong.
14:19He understood that he's going to be facing a strong fighter like Miguel,
14:23which is good and it's helping him.
14:25Tess, ooh, the rolls in the inside.
14:28Oh, this is sharp shooting right now.
14:31This is sharp, sharp stuff.
14:33Entertaining stuff right here.
14:34And the varied offensive attack too.
14:37The one-twos up top, the stab jabs to the body,
14:40the body work and then going upstairs as well as the defensive stuff rolling.
14:46So you see that Keyshawn's giving less room now.
14:49He's staying close enough to be able to hit and counter Madueño.
14:55Gives an angle, sends off the right hand, Miguel right into the pocket,
14:59going to the body, comes upstairs with the right hand, just a glancing blow.
15:03Keyshawn trying to rest right there.
15:04He's trying to find a way to get off the ropes.
15:07Can't stay there, Madueño.
15:08That's one spot you want to end up in.
15:10You make Madueño's job easy when you sit on the ropes with him.
15:14That's what he wants you to do.
15:16Fight high totals for connects
15:18and punches thrown in round number four for Keyshawn Davis.
15:21The art of boxing.
15:27I mean, it isn't careless.
15:29It's meticulous like this.
15:31Meaningful shots.
15:32This is being a complete pro right here.
15:35You know, he's doing a good job in navigating his way through this fight.
15:39Keyshawn is throwing that mid-range when he needs to.
15:42Being inside the pocket as well.
15:45Dominating on the inside like that with short uppercuts on the inside
15:49and throwing combinations using his jab and setting up his combinations.
15:52Just like here, as you see.
15:55Just good work by Keyshawn Davis.
15:57Little by little, he's slowly weakening Madueño.
16:03Yeah, he's slowly weakening him.
16:04And you know that 50% rate.
16:06You know what I always tell you.
16:08He's at 55% of his power punch.
16:10The stoppage should be near.
16:12You know who also believes in that is Bomac, is Brian McIntyre, his trainer.
16:17We listened in after the last round and he gave him the combination he wants to see.
16:21He said under with the right hand, over with the left.
16:22But he said he cannot take much more of this.
16:27He's going to keep coming.
16:28There's that right hand to the body again.
16:31But you're starting to see the inside work here by Keyshawn.
16:33You got to be careful not to pull straight up.
16:35That left hook from Madueño is going to come.
16:38Remember, first of our two world title fights is coming up next.
16:43Oh, Shockey Foster against Robson Conceicao, the Olympic gold medalist.
16:47WBC junior lightweight championship.
16:49And then it's Shakur Stevenson and Artem Hartunian for the WBC lightweight world championship.
16:56There is shock.
16:57Oh, Shockey Foster from Houston, Texas, the third defense of his title.
17:01He is coming off high drama.
17:04I mean, sensational fan-friendly fights that came down to the 12th round.
17:09And shock having to pull it out.
17:11What will happen in moments against Conceicao?
17:17Keyshawn again showing his inside prowess.
17:19The same thing coming from Madueño.
17:22Just kind of trying to land something.
17:24Spraying and praying.
17:25That's it.
17:26Keyshawn has landed some vicious shots on him.
17:28He's taking them well.
17:29He's still in this fight.
17:31Can't count him out.
17:32He still has heavy hands.
17:34But Keyshawn right now in total control of the action.
17:37And then there is Shakur Stevenson.
17:39His really good friend who's glued to watch the action of Keyshawn Davis.
17:45These two have a dynamic relationship.
17:46Yes, they do.
17:48And they've already said that they will not fight each other.
17:53Keyshawn is so outspoken about his lofty ranking right now already in his career.
17:57The fact he said, I'd go up.
17:58I'll fight Timo Lopez at 140.
18:00I'll take anybody.
18:01Put me on the tank.
18:02Davis, Vasily Lomachenko.
18:03Co-feature.
18:04I'll fight the winner there.
18:05Gimme Baranchuk, the WBO champ.
18:07But the only guy I won't fight is Shakur Stevenson.
18:09They're friends.
18:10They're very close friends.
18:11Yes.
18:14Nice body shot from Maguanyo.
18:15Yeah, came with the left hand.
18:16Sweeping across that belt line moments ago.
18:18In the closing moments here of round number five.
18:21Scheduled for 10 before our two world championship fights from here in Newark, New Jersey.
18:27Joins him with your ringside.
18:29Mark Kriegel reporting.
18:32Bernardo Osuna a little under the weather this evening.
18:36Good will soon, our friend.
18:41Keyshawn Davis with a 93 to 40 connect advantage.
18:48Maguanyo got to have a tie for leather.
18:49He's just eating shots after a shot.
18:52Especially the body work, because then it opens up things like that.
18:55The attack upstairs.
18:5727 body connects to this point.
19:00You see the punches landed overall by Davis.
19:04Get up.
19:06All right.
19:07Come on, let's go.
19:07Oh, what a good right hand behind that jack.
19:09Then he goes to the body with a left.
19:12And Miguel...
19:13...right in the kitchen throwing heat to the body himself.
19:19Put your hand down.
19:19Let him go.
19:20Let him go.
19:21Break.
19:21Stop.
19:22Stop.
19:22Break.
19:23Break cam.
19:23Break.
19:24Break.
19:24Guys, come on, man.
19:25Let him go.
19:26Let him go.
19:26I mean, he's done.
19:27Let him go.
19:27I mean, he's done.
19:28He's어요.
19:28Let him go.
19:29Let him go.
19:29All right.
19:30Let him go.
19:30Let him go.
19:31Okay.
19:31What's going on?
19:32I think he's done.
19:33I don't know.
19:34I think he's done.
19:34break break clean break break guys come on you start hitting guys you start hitting guys that
19:39often you worry about hand injuries you know hitting them high on the head
19:47as you can see i would pay attention more downstairs if i was quichon that's where i
19:52would focus most of my attention right downstairs and he has been but i think he could do a little
19:57bit more downstairs quichon right here what he's doing he's buying he's buying himself time that's
20:02what he's doing right uppercut on the inside the body work is what's going to continue to weaken
20:08with duanyo and slow him down
20:12and then eventually quichon to be able to land something up top that's going to really hurt him
20:17this is right uppercut that was glancing from duanyo quickly he is letting his hands go as
20:22he said he would he knows it's his only hope to come forward the entire fight
20:27but duanyo tries to wear you out he pushes the pace on you
20:30he lets his hands go he's landing those are thudding punches he's landing
20:35whether on the arms or to the body anywhere he can two left uppercuts and then a left to
20:41the body right hand and then miguel just keeps firing to the head quichon picking his spots
20:47countering between punches with the right hand now posting he'll get the warning from david
20:52over that man boxing is about inches of serious centimeters stop stop this young man's in tune
20:59with everything he's looking down at us at the commentary table he's looking at you right now
21:03and he's laughing he's saying this is a tough this is the tough dude that's what he's saying
21:09stop
21:24yeah this this fight is definitely testing testing the conditioning
21:31of davis end of six
21:34watch what happened after the belt and the sixth round watch the referee
21:44watch this right hand side of your screen this is after the sixth round stop stop miguel madueno
21:50was punching back at davis after they went head-to-head and he hits the referee david franchiosi
21:57franchiosi was out of it for a moment he said who just hit me stop oh
22:06oh my goodness what is going on
22:10he wants to get dq timmy yes he does he wants out he wants out took a swipe at the end of the six
22:18and now he's trying to go wwe on quichon who just drove a right hand right to the head
22:23wwe on quichon who just drove a right hand right into him
22:31i don't know about you but i'm entertained no doubt about it
22:43listen you absorb a lot you're completely out of class you get frustrated and funny
22:48things happen in fights we've seen it before
22:53sharp right hand yeah he's looking for that counter right that lazy jab
22:57the break for that mid-range jab coming from eduaino quichon is looking to set
23:01him up for that right hand stop a little bit get up both the eyes get up starting to get ugly
23:12back up i mean it is the midway we have the incident after the sixth round we
23:19have the incident here in this round and now a three punch combination from quichon
23:30it's ridiculous ridiculous
23:34somebody got to step in and say this man too many shots being taken this is exactly how
23:39brain bleed start i understand he's tough he's gritty yes he's coming back with offense but at
23:45the same time he's taking big shot after big shot after big shot you know and prior to that near
23:51body slam by eduaino david franciosi had warned him sternly admonishing him in the corner saying
23:57i will dq you you pull something like you just did i'll dq you stop stop stop
24:02stop just frustration coming from eduaino stop
24:19target practice
24:24it is target practice right now too easy and then quichon places that left hand under the
24:29right elbow as well you know what you know when somebody nods like that when a fighter just says
24:33yeah come on that means it hurts that's what that means oh he's been hurt he's been tagged
24:38three with 82 power punches all right let's go back and show you the end of the sixth round this
24:51after the bell to end the sixth round
24:57get out my face
25:01right into the right eye of referee david franciosi
25:05and then this is what happened in the seventh round
25:10oh the retaliation right there
25:15hey look at quichon through the first blow he threw the first punch he started he started
25:21and then the retaliation that's what everybody sees
25:32mark cragle you spoke to the commission what do they say larry has told me it's inadvertent
25:38contact and david franciosi properly warned medina you do it again you're out of here
25:52you
25:58and start using the ring box
26:21he's still in there he has one gear and one game
26:35i mean davis has hit him with everything right the kitchen sink break clean step back
26:41everything and he's still coming forward and here's a guy who wants to come forward at the
26:46target of the wbc junior lightweight championship will be a four-time world title challenger
26:54tonight of course he fought shakur stevenson but i thought his best effort was his most recent world
27:01title challenge but it was a well-earned draw against emmanuel navarrete where he made decisions
27:08and acted like a fighter down the stretch on that night he got off the canvas twice test
27:15to come back in for the draw against the world champion against the world champion one of the
27:19hardest punchers in the division that says a lot about it so now he gets shock he gets o'shaqui
27:26foster and that is coming up in just a matter of moments we are minutes away from the wbc junior
27:33lightweight championship fight right uppercut well timed by davis stop hitting in the back of the head
27:39it's just simple just create space for yourself along the ropes
27:43and as meduano is coming in he's squared up and he's just caught with the uppercut
27:51meduano just depends on volume and he depends on power forget the fundamentals
27:55the fundamentals are out the window he's just in there just trying to land on you any way he can
27:59stop two steps back
28:30is
28:37come on quichon quichon did that quichon buying his time that pressure of meduano starting to get
28:44to quichon he's gonna have to sell though can he's gonna yeah he can sell but he's gonna have
28:48to just stay mentally tough to his frankly i understand he has a man that can take a shot
28:54easy has stayed on form of throwing 389 punches but simmy he's also absorbed 152 look at this this
29:04kid is a cornerback with the iq of tom brady you see that uppercut he plays right there that's
29:09beautiful work creating space off the ropes seeing his man leaning forward nice but this is what i
29:14was talking about quichon he dropped his legs right here nice veteran move to pull down meduano to buy
29:20himself again more time stop break clean stop it come on man and when i say more time that just be
29:26more time the referee needs to step up and do and do a better job clean
29:33and tell him that he's the third man inside the rope he's running his pay tonight isn't he yeah
29:37but he has to be more authoritative he has to be more in control he has to let them know like hey
29:42i'm gonna start taking points right now this is getting out of hand keep your tongue in your mouth
29:50yes there's cloressa shields in the locker room beast with shakur there she is the champ
29:58champ in the house okay stop now stop boxing shakur's got andre ward bud crawford cloressa
30:04shields all in the locker room as he prepares to defend his wbc lightweight championship
30:21you
30:23we punch combination again from davis stop stop davis just need to get more consistent with his
30:32offense take a little bit of the steam off his punches and start placing the shots one after the
30:37other one after the other that's how he's gonna get the stoppage little by little he's looking
30:41pretty fine here in round nine body shots and then head work and he's making a pressure fighter now
30:47goes back go backwards meduano yes he looks like he wants to he wants uh davison to come in however
30:54he's just he's bluffing test look at those left hooks as miguel has come off the gas pedal in
31:02terms of what he's putting forth here in round number nine another tactic to weaken trying to
31:11tackle he's got his gloves around his ankles
31:18he doesn't have much left at all
31:23oh good right hand catching him coming in oh he tried to rake him right there
31:29it's starting to get it's just too ugly it's dirty inside of that ring right now
31:33that's it that's it no more
31:46did you hear that shot to the head and miguel stood up to it
31:54packed house at the rock two world title fights coming up in moments but keeshawn davis is putting
32:01have a good round and a ridiculously rugged and foul-filled fights against miguel magueno
32:12tenth and final round no come on get up
32:20more of the same target practice right here nice little jab from keeshawn but a shoulder roll boom
32:24pull to be able to land that shot the big shot right here hear it again here it is again nice
32:29pull counter right there from keeshawn davis knock it off he continues to land big shots like
32:37this sometimes fighters that don't want to go it sometimes it's so difficult to knock them out no
32:43matter how much you hit them with magueno seems to have his mind made up he's taking these shots
32:48very well in the past you've seen guys that faced davis they get hit with shots like this they're
32:54knocked out not magueno well magueno is on the receiving side of one of the record-setting
33:00offensive outposts in the history of the sport he absorbed 417 power shots in his loss to
33:05claggett he has two losses sprayed against 31 wins both were decision losses he's never been stopped
33:11the combination again from davis he got an iron chin break clean and an iron body stand up
33:21come on
33:34let him go
33:43tripling up the left hand coming back with the right uppercut going back to two left hooks
33:50but that's it okay now stop boxing and separate quickly
33:55keeshawn now you hear from the corner bomax and keep going down to the body
33:59stop hitting the back of this thing has been so dirty and ugly and foul-filled i'm actually
34:05curious to see how they react to each other after this final bell yeah but what i like about the
34:11young keeshawn is is that he didn't let the he didn't let it break stop boxing stop punching
34:19you know he's he's he's fouling he's coming back i mean he's he's doing what he needs to do but he's
34:24still staying focused inside that ring he's not letting it affect his performance at all
34:40see sometimes fighters we like to have our way and we want fights to be clean
34:44not every fight is going to be clean fights don't get dirty like this and how you behave and how you
34:48respond oh matador oh my goodness oh we got matador going on this stuff three seconds
34:56and it lands a clean right hand to close it out
35:02well they hug it out after all of that after all of that
35:09and they go to each other's respective corners
35:11it's neither neither guy wanting to give a mental edge inside that ring that's all it is just
35:18do you see the sportsmanship do you see the sportsmanship afterwards yep
35:23almost always look only everything happened but the knockout tonight
35:29you know davidson he did everything he was supposed to do tonight he got the victory
35:35one no he didn't get the knockout would have loved to see it but i love the flashy
35:40combinations the counter punching ability that he showed tonight was brilliant stuff
35:46on the inside he was able to even at times bag up the stronger medueno who kept coming forward
35:56being aggressive who had heavy hands even davis took some shots tonight to be able to land some
36:01offense so all in all i thought it was a fantastic performance by quichon davis he thought this is
36:08the toughest opponent that he's ever faced i think his defense was great tonight i think that his
36:13conditioning was great tonight his combinations was great tonight and the fact that he was able
36:18to deal with the type of opponent that medueno was a tough rugged savvy veteran who just came
36:28to fight came to win and that had severe punching power copy box numbers are just superb for quichon
36:35davis landed over 50 of his power punches landed 194 total 122 power and of course defense on point
36:45two as miguel only landed 14 of his total punches ladies and gentlemen after 10 rounds here inside
36:55the prudential center newark new jersey we go to the judges scorecards for the official decision
37:02mark constantino ron mcnair and steve weisfeld all have it 99 91 career winner by unanimous decision
37:12and still usba wbc usa and wbo intercontinental lightweight champion the businessman quichon
