00:00Coach, we're taking a look here with the NBA. Maybe that, you know, free agent frenzy is
00:07starting to die down, which means the summer leagues are starting to heat up. All eyes
00:12on the prize with the Lakers and Bronny James. What did we get out of his first career NBA
00:18quote, unquote, start in summer league here?
00:21Brother got to hit some shots. I mean, let's call it like it is the kick in the fed. We've
00:29talked about it and we talked about it, you know, you know, before the draft, even during
00:34our draft show, even afterwards, Bronny James could defend at an NBA level. There's no questions
00:39about it. Can he make shots? So this is a guy that if you just pull up his, his box
00:46score two of nine, right? Missed all of his free, both free throws, all three of his three
00:52pointers went one of three inside the lanes, or he couldn't even finish around the basket.
00:57But then you start peeling back, right? So looking at Bronny James last year, USC, right?
01:02Jump shot, 27th percentile, catch and shoot guarded, 7th percentile, right? Three pointers
01:1021st percentile. Simply put Bronny James. If he's going to be a player in this league,
01:17forget a player, a contributing member of an NBA team, he's got to hit perimeter shots.
01:27The defense is not going to carry him. If you're going to hang on his defense and that's
01:31it, call him Frank Milikina. Oh wait, he's not in the league. Call him Davion Mitchell.
01:36He just got traded. He's got to knock down shots because one trick ponies don't work
01:42in the NBA.
