00:00Okay. This is a list of strike percentage from catchers. Okay. You ready to get strike
00:10percentage from catcher called strike percentage from catchers. And this is the top eight Tyler
00:18Stevenson, Bo Naylor, Yonner Diaz, your guy, Alejandro Kirk, Adley Rutschman. No surprise
00:26there. Gabriel Moreno, Salvador Perez, Wilson Contreras. Wow. Number one. He is also turned
00:39his, he went from a minus five in framing runs to a net neutral. That's huge. So here, here's,
00:49here's what I want us to discuss. Was this a lack of development of a very talented
00:57athletic player where they decided there might be a willingness issue and then there ended up
01:01not being a willingness issue. They put him in now. Now look, this, this development costs Wilson
01:07too. He got his forearm broken doing some of the stuff that the Cardinals were doing at the
01:12catcher's position earlier, but this was a guy that was believed to not be able to take the next
01:20step in his development defensively. And now he's taken that next step for your rival in St. Louis.
01:27Evan, what do you think when you hear that? I, I'm not very surprised by it. I mean, we,
01:32you know, we heard some of the stuff about him breaking iPads and maybe having a budding of
01:37heads, you know, personality wise with some of the folks, whether it be the staff or the front
01:41office. But you know, that's an area of the Cubs have shown a tremendous ability to develop
01:46players, be it guys that brought over guys have drafted, but that development, I don't want to
01:52say it stops at the major league level, but look at all the prospects. They called up all those
01:56young guys in the 2014, 15, 16 seasons. And then what happened? They were hot immediately,
02:03but it didn't seem that they showed the ability to adjust with the Cubs as they went on and pictures
02:09opposing defense.
