In "Harold and the Purple Crayon," adventurous Harold (Zachary Levi) discovers he can bring anything to life by drawing it. As he matures, he draws himself out of the book and into the real world, where he must navigate real-life challenges and unintended mischief caused by his magical purple crayon. When his boundless imagination is threatened, Harold and his friends must use all their creativity to save both the real world and his own.

This live-action hybrid family adventure/comedy, directed by Carlos Saldanha and produced by John Davis, stars Zachary Levi, Lil Rel Howery, Benjamin Bottani, Jemaine Clement, Tanya Reynolds, Alfred Molina, and Zooey Deschanel. The screenplay, written by David Guion and Michael Handelman, is based on the beloved children’s classic by Crockett Johnson.
