00:00Hello! You're at the European premiere. Just tell me how you feel right now.
00:04I feel so overwhelmed and excited and just thrilled to be here, truly.
00:08And the weather? We've just really ordered it in for you.
00:10It feels very on theme. We really pulled through. We're on Brad.
00:14Please talk me through Kate and her character. What is she like today?
00:18I mean, Kate, I really love that character. She's somebody who's gone through a lot at a young age
00:24and it's really marked her, and I think this film is a wonderful celebration of somebody
00:28who is both coming home to where they grew up in Oklahoma, but also coming home to themselves
00:33and the person they once were, and yeah, her journey is really beautiful. I really love it.
00:38And your accent's incredible, by the way. Absolutely amazing. Weather boot camp, just what was that like?
00:43Yes, weather boot camp. That was really cool. I mean, I'm such a nerd for any weather stuff.
00:48I was really enjoying being there and meeting real meteorologists, meeting real chasers,
00:53and just trying to pick up as much as I can so whenever I had weather jargon,
00:57it didn't look like I had no idea what I was talking about.
01:00And your mate's asking you what the weather's going to be now.
01:02I know. Apparently Bill Paxton used to give weather reports at the start of every shooting day.
01:07I'm not quite at that level, but there's still time.
01:09And let's talk about the wild action scenes. Were they as crazy as I think they might have been?
01:13They were. They were definitely like when you read a script and it says like,
01:17and then they get blown away. You sort of try and imagine what that would be like,
01:21but only when you're there with an actual jet engine being blown at you
01:25and like wind and rain and debris just being thrown at you, you're like,
01:28okay, this is definitely not going to be a comfortable summer, but also so much fun.
01:33It was like being on a theme park ride.
01:35And Anthony and Glenn. I mean, oh, unbelievable company you kept. Was it just lovely?
01:39Do you know, it's such a wonderful cast. Anthony, Glenn, I mean the entire cast are so brilliant,
01:44and we all like really bonded in Oklahoma. We went line dancing.
01:48It's such a, just like the original, the ensemble is so incredible.
01:52It's so, I feel very honoured to be a part of this cast.
01:54Who was the best at line dancing?
01:57Glenn, actually. He grew up in Texas, so he knew how to swing dance. He was very, very good.
02:01I had no idea what he was doing.
02:03Anthony can't do, for goodness sake.
02:05And why should we see this film this summer?
02:07I think it's a summer blockbuster like we haven't had in a really long time.
02:11It feels like it's real people set now who are facing monsters that are real and poseable,
02:19and so I just think it's nail-biting, adrenaline ride, but also there's so much heart,
02:25there's so much character and fun. Yeah, there's just lots to enjoy.
