00:00But it's the thing is with whoopee is that it's it's just that's an example of pure selfishness
00:06She's saying that because of her emotional disturbance over Trump is so deep
00:12That she is willing to let that take control over logic and reason
00:17She would put the country at risk with a man who was not there because she doesn't like that guy
00:22I'm worried about Scarborough. I know you're his friend Harold. I know he needs a friend right now
00:27Maybe you're his maybe you're the guy that should pull him aside and say
00:30Dude, the filter that you've been using in the last couple years to assess reality is no longer working
00:38And it hasn't been working if everything turns out wrong through this filter. Maybe it's time to take the truck. I mean Trump
00:47Trump's biggest real estate property right now is in Scarborough's head
00:52You know, it's the Trump 24-7 with a no vacancy sign blinking in his cerebellum
00:58I think I think you are the man Harold you needed Trump intervention
01:03You're not looking at me. I'm listening. I'm writing this down. Yeah, okay. Look him in the eyes Harold
01:08Yes, look at your notes. Look at your notes. Okay. All right, Dana
01:12I'm dying to ask you this, you know because Joe and Mika last week
01:15They had a thing going on and and Joe was like 10 days ago. It was really bad
01:20And he said she was being hysterical. Yeah that she was being hysterical
01:24But now he's kind of back on message and 10 rank-and-file
01:29They want Joe to stay in the race and they don't want him to go. What's all this?
01:34I felt what I took it from it because I could see we were on newsroom this morning
01:39So we could see the interview was happening, but we couldn't hear it because we were doing our own show
01:42So I catch up with it later and I think there's this fascinating divide between the newly enlightened media and then the loyalists
01:49So the night of the debate if you turned on CNN afterwards, there was a mutiny
01:55Yeah, right
01:56they were like leaving God in droves and then you have people like would be Goldberg or
02:01Morning, Joe who I think morning Joe is sort of like, uh, I don't know guys
02:05I don't think this feels like such a good idea, but they're given trying to maybe be friend
02:09They they don't want to hurt his feelings
02:11But we cannot allow an older man's virgin vision of himself
02:16To be in this moment
02:17But we have really big huge problems in this country and around the world and you have his own staffers saying he can only
02:24Handle the job between 10 and 4 that's not acceptable and for would be Goldberg
02:29I wish for her sake like I like her
02:33she takes
02:34this so seriously her
02:37Feelings against Trump takes him so seriously that she's willing to say I don't need a president who can
02:43Complete a sentence. I don't need somebody who can control his bowels. I just need somebody who is not well
02:50Imagine if the Biden team
02:53Took it as seriously as she did
02:55We wouldn't be in this position because one he wouldn't be running again
02:59And they what he would have said let's go for an open convention or he would have turned it over to Kamala Harris
03:03Which is probably what's going to happen in the end of all of this by the end of the month
03:06I think so, too. But you know, there's a magazine outlet and
03:11They have a photo of Donald Trump Harold and they say, you know
03:14When you have Ali Veshi saying Biden's condition is irrelevant that it's a threat to democracy that we should care about
03:21Where they like and Donald Trump to Hitler on the cover of this new Republic
03:27You know, the amazing thing is they say this is what it would look like
03:31But we had him for four years and they're still calling him Hitler
03:35They're still saying we'd rather have an inept president than Donald Trump
03:39I would have not done that. That's not my way. I would have done the cover there
03:43I look I get on both sides. You have people Democrats who are curious is that Republicans who support Donald Trump?
03:49They think there are things that are flawed by about him and I get people who say that they're
03:54Republicans who think things are flawed by Democ about Democ this Democratic nominee
03:58Just just as one of the things said to I hear you loud and clear Greg Joe's a serious guy
04:03And I know he's thinking about this. He's thinking about this as I'm sure we're on this show
04:07But I want to be clear. I heard from Democratic elected officials. I heard from state party officials
04:12I heard from former Democratic elected officials and business leaders in our party
04:16they're donors, but they're more than donors or people who run real businesses who employ people in in
04:22States that are that are battleground states and not one of them
04:25Not one of them thinks it's a good idea for President Biden to go forward now. That doesn't mean anything
04:30However, these are not all elites. These are everyday Democrats
04:33Who care about this issue but on both sides there people they're Democrats who were who wonder how they're Republicans who support Trump and remember
04:40Three-quarters of the country or two-thirds of the country doesn't want either of these guys is the nominee so I get it
04:46All right, Jesse. Whoopi's a kamikaze and Joe just wants to keep a relationship with the other Joe
04:52And I just have a lot of respect for Donald Trump for going to the basement for the last two weeks
04:57I think it was really
05:00Very disciplined
05:04Don't say anything crazy. Yeah
