We spend a lot of time sitting. While we sit, the usual curvature of the spine gets straightened and the small joints and ligaments in the spine get stretched. This can result in chronic pain. Hence proper spine care is mandatory, especially for people who spend a lot of time sitting and working.

Tips for avoiding back pain
1. Change your position of sitting once every 30 mins or one hour.
2. If you travel often, get a lumbar support pillow that helps with correct sitting posture.

00:05We always think that we should stand upright and walk straight.
00:10This time around, they are concentrating on the spine.
00:14But a normal human being will sit more than when he is standing or lying down.

00:27But most of the time, an average human spends more time sitting than standing.
00:33Recently, there has been a lot of research on what happens to the spine while sitting.
00:41When we look at standing, a curvature like this is maintained.
00:45A curvature in the neck, a curvature in the upper back and a curvature in the lumbar.
