Isiniwalat ng isang mambabatas na mayroon umanong halos P1-B inilipat sa bank accounts ng isang opisyal ng COMELEC. Tugma umano ito sa paggulong ng bidding hanggang sa ma-award ang kontrata sa Miru Systems na gagamitin sa eleksyon. Bagamat walang pinangalanang opisyal dahil ibeberepika pa, pumalag na agad si COMELEC Chairman Garcia.
