What more do you think should be done to support young people?

00:00Let's face it, we all did a little bit of shoplifting once, that little roll of

00:04sweets or something for a lovely shop. I don't mean going in and getting a

00:08thousand pounds, nicking a thousand pounds worth of stuff. People are

00:13going to do that anyway. It doesn't matter how much money they had, they'd still do it.

00:16One of my great nieces has gone today, she goes to St. Eddie's and she's gone

00:22today on the Duke of Edinburgh thing. Now our young ones who were like 40

00:27something on, they all did that. But you don't hear that now, do you?

00:31And there's no youth clubs for them to go to, is there? There's always youth clubs in our day,

00:36always a little dance to go to. I wouldn't know where there was one now. No, no, no

00:41idea. It's frightening, to be honest, it is. And it was a good meeting place.

00:47They're just with their own ages and their own people who are in the

00:52same train of thought, oh we'll go to the club. Not necessarily a youth club, but a

00:56community hub or somewhere, you know.
