00:16Yeah, this isn't setting up all that well for the Chicago Cubs right now.
00:19Certainly not playing great baseball, but if you're just going one through nine
00:22on each roster that's supposed to be in the starting lineup tonight,
00:24it's by a mile the Baltimore Orioles.
00:26If you take a look at Jamison Tyone,
00:28he actually has some pretty good statistics on the season.
00:31Particularly here, Ben, over the past 30 days, 125 batters he's faced,
00:35a 126 ISO, and a 250 weighted on base percentage.
00:38Why? He's been filthy against left-handed batters,
00:41but struggling just a bit against righties,
00:43and he got some pretty good power bats.
00:45But having said that, the one thing that you typically like about the Orioles
00:48and why they're so good at the plate is a lot of left-handed batters
00:51and a lot of switch hitters to go up against those right-handed pitchers.
00:55Just take a look at the first four guys in that lineup,
00:57Gunnar Henderson, Adley Rutschman, Anthony Santander, and Ryan O'Hearn
01:01will be all lefties, followed by Westbrook, who's a righty.
01:03Then you jump right back to Kierstadt there as a lefty,
01:06and also still in that lineup, Cedric Mullins in the eight hole.
01:09This is a predominantly left-handed lineup when I just told you
01:12that Jamison Tyone has been filthy against left-handed batters.
01:16Look at the temperatures, though. Here's what's tough.
01:18I just told you about Philadelphia, almost identical conditions, Ben.
01:2191 degrees at first pitch, double-digit winds blowing out in a hitter's ballpark.
01:26I look at this game to myself and say,
01:28I don't know what I'm getting out of the Cubs at the plate.
01:30I know I'm going to get decent at-bats for the Orioles.
01:32Maybe an under. They need 10 to hit that total.
01:34Maybe it stays under the nine and a half here.
