00:00This is what happens. This is the evolution of the game. It's constantly changing. Players
00:12changing teams. I think it's just hard to absorb for people in the city by the bay after
00:20so many championships and so many trips to the finals and the Splash Brothers and all
00:26the rest. And playing with Dre on top of that, the three of them were inseparable.
00:31And the fact is, is that at some point everything ends, including the six championship bowls.
00:39It doesn't matter. Shaq and Kobe, the team in Miami that won the titles, they always
00:46end these teams. At some point it ends. So is it really that drastic for everybody to
00:52absorb that they didn't want him? He's not who he was. People act like this guy is the
00:58player that he was, or imagining things, and that he's going to go dominate or something
01:03in Dallas any more than he did in Oakland and San Francisco. I'm just telling you, his
01:11job there is to knock down threes. And that's about the gist of it. I mean, I don't think
01:16he has another role. What is his role? It's to shoot. That's it. He replaces Derrick Jones
01:21Jr. He's a better shooter than Jones, I'll tell you that much. But he's no longer the
01:27player, in my opinion, that they show all these highlights of him driving to the rack
01:32and scoring and dunking. I think those days are over.
