00:00The President explained the reason behind the visit of Josh and Bimby Aquino to First Lady Liza Arneta Marcos,

00:07according to the President, it was a conspiracy by both of them.

00:10The President also answered the question,

00:12if the story of Marcos and Aquino is over?

00:16And JP Soriano was able to answer.

00:22The reason they went to First Lady is simple.

00:26It was President Bongbong Marcos himself who explained the reason behind the visit of Josh and Bimby Aquino to First Lady Liza Arneta Marcos,

00:35the daughter of Chris Aquino.

00:37The reactions of the first wife were different yesterday,

00:40especially the political rivals were the first wife, former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr.,

00:47and the grandfather of Bimby, former Senator Ninoy Aquino.

00:51But the President said,

00:53what is not often mentioned is the relationship of Bimby with her husband.

00:58Liza is their aunt.

01:00Because her aunt was married to Don Pepe, the eldest brother of Cory.

01:07So they are related.

01:09That's why it's not surprising.

01:11She knows her nieces very well.

01:15The President mentioned that Don Pepe is the cousin of Chris,

01:20who is Don Pedro Cojuangco,

01:22who is married to Sari Cacho Cojuangco,

01:25who is the sister of the mother of First Lady Liza,

01:28who is Maria Milagros Cacho Arneta.

01:31I think it was Chris Aquino who needed some assistance for something.

01:35It was just to help them for their travel, for their travel arrangements.

01:39So First Lady helped them and that's all.

01:42And so I think it was a very fine gesture on the part of the Aquino family.

01:47I think it sort of, I suppose, put a little more, how do you say,

01:51personal, a human interaction between our families.

01:55It was also not the first interaction of the two families after the People Power Revolution.

02:01In his 90s talk show, Chris had a one-on-one with the current President.

02:06When former President Cory passed away,

02:09brothers Marcos visited and talked to Chris's sister, Balcee.

02:14And in the middle of the new questions,

02:17if the role of Marcos and Aquino is over,

02:22We've always been okay, we just don't agree politically.
