01:19President Bongbong Marcos and former Vice President Lenny Robredo,

01:23here in Sorsogon City.

01:25A rare opportunity for Marcos and Robredo to be together in public again.

01:29This was the turning point of the vice president during the 2016 election.

01:34Robredo defeated Marcos with a score of 263,473 votes.

01:41Marcos appealed this to the Supreme Court, which is the Presidential Electoral Tribunal,

01:45but it was not approved.

01:47The two faced each other again in the 2022 presidential elections,

01:51where Marcos defeated Robredo with a big vote advantage.

01:56Robredo received the result.

01:59Senate President Chief Escudero was the reason for the meeting between Marcos and Robredo.

02:04Escudero invited Robredo to join him in the President's visit to Bicol,

02:10for the inauguration of Sorsogon Sports Arena,

02:12which is said to be the biggest sports venue in Bicol Region,

02:16with 12,000 seating capacity.

02:47In the meeting, former Senator Bam Aquino,

02:51the nephew of the former Senator Ninoy Aquino,

02:54who was also against the politics of Marcos.

02:56Bam became Robredo's campaign manager during the 2022 elections.

03:01Escudero believes that this is just the beginning of any wound

03:05between Robredo and Marcos.

03:07I think this is the first step towards healing any wound,

03:16because remember, any debate or difference of opinion is political, not personal.

04:45Vice President Sara Duterte also visited Robredo in her house in Naga.

04:50After that, she was visited by allies of President Marcos,

04:54DILG Secretary Benor Abalos and Senator Bong Revilla.
