Sydney service commemorates those who served in the Middle East

Australian soldiers involved in operations in the Middle East will be commemorated with a service in Sydney today. It follows the New South Wales government's announcement pledging $2 million to a new memorial honouring those who served in the Middle East. CEO of 'Families of Veterans Guild' Renee Wilson is there today with her husband, veteran Gary Wilson, who was injured serving in Afghanistan. She says Australians don't understand what veterans went through in the Middle East.
