PBBM leads distribution of various types of assistance in Cavite

00:33This was stated by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. when he led the distribution of
00:38presidential assistance to farmers and fisherfolk in the city of Dasmariñas, Cavite earlier.
00:44President Marcos enumerated and emphasized the big ticket projects in Cavite
00:49that will provide inter-regional connectivity between Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon.
00:56The construction
01:25of the 64-billion-peso LRT Line 1 Cavite Extension Project remains on schedule.
01:31This project will extend from Baclaran Terminal to Nyog Station in Bacoor City.
01:36It is expected to reduce travel time from Baclaran to Bacoor
01:39from one hour and ten minutes to just 25 minutes.
01:43Once completed, it will accommodate an additional 300,000 passengers
01:47of the LRT-1 system in its first year of full operation.
01:51The Calax Project is a 44-kilometer plus expressway connecting Cavitex in Cavite-Cavite
01:58to the S-Lexman-Plazan Interchange in Binan, Laguna.
02:01The 35-billion-peso project aims to reduce the commute between Cavite and Binan
02:06from one and a half hours to 45 minutes.
02:08In addition to these projects, President Marcos also pointed out
02:12government measures to stop flooding in Cavite.
02:22Meanwhile, the President brought close to P28 billion in financial assistance and services
02:30to Southern Tagalog today.
02:31This includes cash assistance, agriculture machinery, and other equipment, and a lot more.
