00:49So you've got to look at this and say, what am I going to get in return?

01:18I want somebody that can go out there and produce on a daily basis.
01:22I don't want another arm because you're not going to get anything commensurate with what
01:26you're giving up.
01:27I want another arm could be a part of the deal, but I want somebody that can come in
01:32and produce on the offensive side needs to be young and it's a day in day out player.
01:38And here's the thing.
01:39I don't think is valuable as Tarek Scooble is.

01:48I don't know if you're going to get a major league ready bat right now for Tarek Scooble
01:51because odds are, if you're trading a dude at the deadline, those teams you're trading
01:55them to want to keep those bats because they want to try to win a world series.

01:59I know that teams are willing to pay a very lofty price for Tarek Scooble.
02:04I also know that if you trade for prospects, that could work out too.
02:08Just look at the Washington nationals.
02:09They traded for three, including CJ Abrams for Juan Soto.
02:13And all three of those guys are at the major league level, two hitters and a pitcher really
02:17working out for Washington.
02:19However, if I got some assurances, any assurances that the core of Colt Keith and Riley green
02:27and Reese Olsen and when seal Perez and whoever else you want to add in this so-called core
02:32Kerry Carpenter, Kerry Carpenter fair.
02:34If I get Matt Vierling, you want to add him?
02:37If I get some kind of assurances that you're going to go out and try to win next year,
02:41you're going to go out and spend a little bit.
02:43You're going to go out and get some bats to help this offense that way too many times
02:47Then I'm holding on to Tarek Scooble.

02:51However, if your plan is to wait for the core and that core is believed to be in the Ghana
02:58goal and Clark, then I'm trading him at the deadline without a doubt to the best offer.

03:11I don't think there's a chance in hell that they trade them.
03:14But think about Tarek Scooble having a great season, two and a half years of control will
03:18never be more valuable than he is right now.

03:25I don't even know if the Tigers want to pay the guy considering in the last eight years
03:29he had the Tommy John and he had the ulcer nerve thing as well last year.
03:34So I think you got to worry about that.
03:36And not to mention you could get a lot for him that could really help your rebuild.
03:41So if they don't have any want to win next year, if next year is going to be just like
03:47this year, I'm trading them.
03:49But if they, if they're going to go for it, spend a little cash and I don't even need
03:53a ton of cash.
03:54Just go give me a respectable offense.
03:56Then yeah, I would, I would hold onto it.
