00:00Now, for all the chaos and disaster of the first Trump presidency, it pales in comparison

00:05to the threat of a second Trump presidency.

00:08We've all heard about the policy platform 2025, drafted by the Heritage Foundation,

00:14a project overseen by former Trump officials and advisors and appointees.

00:19It's a manifesto for the second Trump presidency.

00:22What does it do?

00:23The Trump manifesto lays the groundwork for a nationwide abortion ban.

00:28That's the heart and soul of the Republican Party.

00:30That's where they always go when they're in power, folks.

00:33They give some, you know, when they're not in power, they give some words here and there.

00:38When they're running for office, they try to run away from how they vote and how they

00:41feel.

00:42Then they come here and they vote to roll over women's rights again and again and again.

00:49And each time they do it, it becomes more extreme and more extreme.

00:53And that's just the beginning on the issue, on the issues.

00:57The Trump manifesto 2025 calls for the most conservative agenda America has ever seen.

01:03It calls for more tax cuts for the very wealthy, more tax cuts for corporate elites, more tax

01:08cuts for mega corporations.

01:10It calls for reversing Democrats' clean energy agenda while empowering the nation's biggest

01:14oil and gas polluters.

01:16And the Trump manifesto even calls for silencing and attacking all of Donald Trump's political

01:22opponents.

01:23Can you imagine?

01:25It's like a dictatorship.

01:28It's like a dictatorship.

01:30With nothing said, Trump says, I'm going to prosecute people.

01:33No evidence.

01:35Wow.

01:36What happened to rule of law in this grand country?

01:39What happened to the visions of the founding fathers when Donald Trump and the MAGA court

01:43takes over?

01:45The hard right is done speaking euphemisms.

01:49They're smelling blood.

01:50They're saying it straight to our faces.

01:53If you can disagree with Donald Trump, watch your back.

01:57It's bone chilling.

01:58It's un-American.

01:59It's dangerous for our democracy.

02:02The Trump manifesto is an autocrat's dream.

02:04If MAGA Republicans get the chance to act on the Heritage Foundation's ideas, the damage

02:09to the America we all know and love may well be irreversible.

02:13We'll never get it back.

02:14Our children and our grandchildren will live in a less grand country than we have lived

02:19in.

02:20The destruction would be unthinkable, and it would betray everything America has represented

02:27for 248 years.
