Cheeky bears raided a homeowner's bird feeder - before attacking the camera capturing its naughty antics.

Heather Roslie, 50, said visits from the unruly black bears to her garden in Winlock, Washington State, have increased recently.

Her home CCTV shows the big animal attacking the camera, and she also filmed herself shooing another bear away.

She said: “They were right outside my window and getting into the bird feed.

“One of them looked at me and I said, ‘get out of here!’”

“When they’re not scared of you that’s the problem."

Heather says she had a previous visit from a black bear a few years ago, but much more have appeared in the past month.

“I'm out in the country so I get all the wildlife," she said.

“As long as they don't bug me I’m ok with them.

"I just have to be careful walking around and have to take bear spray”

Heather, who is retired, lives on her 15 acre property by herself after the death of her husband from brain cancer in April.

“It’s a little bit worrisome as I don't have my husband here with me, but I’m getting by," she said.

“It gets the heart going if I see them - especially when I walk around the trails near my house.”
