00:00Craig that's obviously been a disappointing week how do you how do
00:04you reflect on it? Yeah quite quite disappointing but it's gone you know
00:11you have two test matches left in this series and we got to look ahead and we
00:16got to stay mentally tough that's important for us. We know how you
00:20bounce back in Australia after a difficult first test do you look
00:25around the group that you've got there and see a team who can do the same
00:28again and bounce back next week? Yeah for sure you know every individual I believe
00:33in hundred percent and I know they could get the job done at this level against
00:37against England in England so yeah I believe it for sure. And obviously the
00:43last hour or so has been all about Jimmy Anderson is that has that been any kind
00:48of distraction to you guys it's been his face has been looking down at us from
00:52the big screen every every hour that we've been here at the ground is it
00:55quite nice to get away from that next week then? Well I wouldn't say it's a
00:58distraction fully fully understood you know obviously a legend legend of the
01:03game you know retiring and stuff so it wasn't a distraction and understood
01:08it's what's happening.

01:23own form is going through a bit of a lean patch so is that something that has
01:27you a bit under pressure or how are you coping with it? Yeah I'm coping okay you
01:34know test cricket is always always a challenge is never easy but as I tell
01:39the boys you know same thing for myself you just gotta stay mentally tough you
01:42gotta believe that you know something's around the corner just keep doing the
01:45right things and everything will work out. In terms of your squad composition
01:50are you going to look to change something for Trent Bridge and H-Pest?
01:55Probably a little too early to decide just gotta see I mean different pitch
02:00we're playing on so I mean when we get there and we look at the pitch we pretty
02:03much know you know whether the same or whether whether change we'll wait and see.
02:07In terms of positives from this test match is there something that you're
02:10taking forward? Yeah positive we took 10 wickets we did
02:14bowl them out albeit 50-60 runs too many. With the batting we got three guys that got
02:20you know to 20-odd they batted you know for at least close to an hour if not an hour.
02:25So you know some positives to take you know we didn't catch we caught
02:29decently as well but obviously you want our own performance you know you want
02:33batsmen I mean batting first you know you want to put runs on the board in
02:37your first innings especially and then bowling you know everything has to
02:41click and we know where we went wrong we know where we can be better and my
02:46thing for the group is you know stay mentally tough you know it's test cricket
02:49you know you go through you know successful periods you go through tough
02:53periods but you just got to be strong and believe in your ability.

03:05Craig as you say bouncing back is important and obviously you did it in
03:10Brisbane but again in Headingley in 2017 you know came off the back of a really
03:15quite heavy defeat in that first test I mean in terms of what goes on in the
03:18dressing room at moments like this and tapping into memories like that what can
03:22you impart on the team from what you've done before?
03:26Yeah I mean you could you could always tap into occasions like that that it did
03:31happen you know first test of a series and you know we didn't win so yes we
03:37could take pauses from that I mean albeit maybe in 2024 obviously it's
03:42different timing and stuff but you know for for me to the boys is generally kind
03:49of like that you know things wouldn't always go as planned also we come to win
03:53the first test and it didn't happen but you know still two tests remaining in
03:57this series and pretty much you know still have six tests remaining for the
04:00year so it's all a build-up and you know we can't believe that because of this
04:05win you know we're out of it or anything we gotta you know we gotta dig
04:10deep we gotta keep believing you know we'll keep stressing on it you know it's
04:13easy to to give up it's easy to say well I can't get it done but we got to keep
04:18believing and keep supporting one another and again in terms of where the
04:23team is at in the rivalry with England I mean you still hold as the trophy you've
04:27proven in home series that you can you can fight against these guys again
04:32memories that you can tap into from recent rivalry yeah I mean when you look
04:37at the group born a couple of good you know made his debut and stuff Louis you
04:42know we all we all had had some memories you know you all had glimpses of doing
04:46great stuff at this level so you know you never forget you know things you
04:52would have done you know whether it's simple routines or mornings you know to
04:56being on the field the first hour so it's stuff like that you know you I guess
05:00that's what you call experience that's where experience comes in but you know
05:04Jason Holder's has been great you know shedding and on that experience and I
05:09will continue to do it and as I said we just got to dig deep on and stay
05:15mentally tough
