00:33This brain break is called ready, set, action.
00:36What you're going to do is tell your students a sentence, and they're going to act out this
00:40sentence using their bodies, facial expressions, or anything else that they'd like.
00:44For example, your sentence might be something like, reach into the air as if you're grabbing
00:49for balloons.
00:51For 10 seconds, your students will act this out.
01:00And then have them come back to a neutral.
01:02And then you can try a new sentence with them.
01:05Have fun.
01:08All right, everyone, we're going to play ready, set, action.
01:16So I'm going to give us some sentences, and then you guys are going to act them out.
01:20Remember, we don't all have to do it exactly the same way.
01:23You can do your own creative version.
01:25But we'll do it for 10 seconds, and then stop and go to the next one.
01:29OK?
01:30Let's start standing today.
01:32So the first sentence is, pop like popcorn.
01:37Ready, set, action.
01:41And freeze.
01:45Good.
01:47Let's do the next one.
01:50Reach into the air like you're grabbing for balloons.

02:03And freeze.
02:04Good.
02:05Last one.
02:07Pretend you're in a marching band, and we're marching to the beat of our own drums.
