65,000 Coffee Mugs Vanish from Tesla's German Gigafactory, Amounting to 5 Cups Per Employee Plant Manager Claims

Tesla's plant manager at the German Gigafactory complained that 65,000 coffee mugs have gone missing from the factory break room since production started. Each Tesla employee is estimated to have taken home 5 IKEA coffee mugs on average based on the number of mugs purchased and employees. The Gigafactory has faced many safety, workplace, and environmental issues since starting production in 2022. Union representatives say employees have safety and pay concerns and a strike is a possible option of last resort. Tesla CEO Elon Musk recently announced plans to cut 10% of the company's workforce worldwide, worrying German employees.
