00:04:43Have you been associated with any known criminals?
00:04:45No, sir.
00:04:46Have not.
00:04:47Have you crossed over the state line at any time?
00:04:49No, sir.
00:04:50Have not.
00:04:53How's the job going?
00:04:55It's boring, but it's still mine.
00:04:59Two months, got to be some kind of record.
00:05:03Anything else you need to know?
00:05:04I need to know when you're going to slip up
00:05:06and stick your pecker in the grits again.
00:05:08This may be a dumb question, but what did I ever do to you?
00:05:13You went into other people's houses and took things that didn't belong to you, things that
00:05:21they worked long and hard for.
00:05:23And I paid my debt, Giddens.
00:05:25My conscience is shiny and new.
00:05:27Yeah, well, how about Bo and Lyle?
00:05:30Bo and Lyle weren't on that job.
00:05:33So the record states.
00:05:34Hey, that's real sweet of you to take the hit for your old school buddies.
00:05:38Giddens, all due respect, you're not a detective.
00:05:42You're my P.O.
00:05:44And I know that you ride me more than most.
00:05:46Why?
00:05:47You're smart.
00:05:48There ain't nothing in this world dumber than a smart guy.
00:05:53A smart man, he sees beyond his little world and it kind of warps him.
00:05:59So when he makes that wrong move, and you will, it tends to be messy.
00:06:04Well, maybe there's a side of me you don't see.
00:06:09As long as you're on parole, you're only what I see.
00:06:15Now, I'd lock the doors if I was you.
00:06:19There's burglars and thieves around these parts.
00:06:39I bet you thought I wasn't going to make it.
00:06:49Yeah, I wasn't sure that I was.
00:06:51Oh, that's right, you've only had 12 hours to change.
00:06:53You should have started last night.
00:06:55Ha ha, she said gamely.
00:06:57Well, two of our trustees are going to be at the Thomassons.
00:07:00Do I have to be charming?
00:07:01No, just be yourself.
00:07:02Ha ha ha.
00:07:03Actually, you need to be a little charming.
00:07:05Just nod and smile and talk to the wives.
00:07:07It's the Thomassons.
00:07:08Dorothy will be there.
00:07:09We can gossip behind our backs.
00:07:10I promise to turn my back as often as possible.
00:07:13Is that what you're wearing?
00:07:23Woo!
00:07:24Let's go double or nothing.
00:07:26I'll spell you three balls this time.
00:07:28All tapped out, buddy.
00:07:29Come on, man, don't be a pussy.
00:07:31You got some green right there in that pocket.
00:07:33No, I'm good.
00:07:34Hey, if you walk out on a man who's still gambling,
00:07:37you might catch a bad one, boy.
00:07:38Hey, you starting fights again, Dale?
00:07:40Ha ha ha.
00:07:42Why don't you rack them up, big guy?
00:07:44I'll be happy to take those cash off you.
00:07:46Come on, man, let me buy you a beer.
00:07:48So what you been working on, man?
00:07:51Dirty cars, mostly.
00:07:53Yeah?
00:07:54Well, that sounds shitty.
00:07:56Better work's coming.
00:07:57You know, a lot of business is going belly up in this economy.
00:08:01You ready?
00:08:03Tons of shit just sitting there.
00:08:05Just waiting to be picked.
00:08:07I know you could use the money.
00:08:09Especially if you ever want to play pool again.
00:08:11Ha ha ha.
00:08:12Well, is that the flush?
00:08:13Well, hell, let's change that.
00:08:15Hey, can I get a beer here from my poor relation?
00:08:20We'll be seeing you.
00:08:21Come on, man.
00:08:23If no goodman finds out that you and Bo have been chatting,
00:08:26he's going to send you right back up.
00:08:28Yeah, they probably will anyway.
00:08:30Right in the back.
00:08:33Oh!
00:08:34With authority.
00:08:43Order!
00:08:44Hi.
00:08:45Hi.
00:08:46How are you?
00:08:47Good.
00:08:48How are you?
00:08:54Personally, I think you're a shoo-in.
00:08:56I don't know, guys.
00:08:57The city council would be a good step,
00:08:59but I still have a hospital to run, you know?
00:09:01I'm just, I'm not sure I'm ready to move on.
00:09:03He thinks the man doth protest too much.
00:09:05Not at all.
00:09:06You've still got four months of protesting ahead of him.
00:09:09Wait until we start begging before you announce.
00:09:11Please don't have your strength.
00:09:12There's an error, sweetie.
00:09:13It's an undeniable truth.
00:09:15It might as well be written in print.
00:09:17What's true?
00:09:18Chief Booth is having a thing.
00:09:19He's taking lovers.
00:09:20Just one, sweetie.
00:09:21Paula Dodd?
00:09:22Paula Dodd?
00:09:23Is she that?
00:09:24Yeah, she runs that gift shop.
00:09:26Sells those ceramic things.
00:09:28Thank you.
00:09:29She's good.
00:09:30Why don't you tell her, Audrey Booth?
00:09:31Oh, she would absolutely crucify him.
00:09:33But she has a right to know.
00:09:34I know her husband's cheating on her.
00:09:36That's all I'm saying.
00:09:37I know.
00:09:38I know.
00:09:44Hey, Don.
00:09:46Hey, Donna.
00:09:49Can you buy me a drink?
00:09:50Uh, yeah.
00:09:52But damn, I'm all cleaned out right now.
00:09:56I mean, I would.
00:09:57You can have mine.
00:09:59Oh.
00:10:00That's okay.
00:10:01I don't want your cooties.
00:10:02No, no, no.
00:10:03I've been to a specialist about that.
00:10:05And they turned out to be benign cooties.
00:10:08So...
00:10:10Wait, what?
00:10:11Nothing.
00:10:12It's just a...
00:10:15So, what's been going on with you?
00:10:17Oh, just, you know, the usual.
00:10:22Hey, you working?
00:10:24Yeah.
00:10:25I'm over at the, uh, National Car Wash.
00:10:29Still.
00:10:30That's cool.
00:10:32Yeah.
00:10:35Okay.
00:10:41Well, I'll see you later.
00:10:42Okay, yeah.
00:10:43Let's just talk later.
00:10:44Yeah.
00:10:45Okay.
00:10:46I'll see you around.
00:10:47All right.
00:10:48Okay.
00:10:49Good talking to you.
00:10:50Bye.
00:10:51Bye, honey.
00:10:52Bye.
00:10:53Bye.
00:10:55Oh!
00:10:56Yeah!
00:11:01It's the best thing in the world, really.
00:11:03I mean, I only took the class because Dorothy was taking it.
00:11:06And for the naked man.
00:11:07And for the naked man, of course.
00:11:09But now it's really an obsession.
00:11:11The drawing, I mean.
00:11:14What about you, Becky?
00:11:15Do you ever think about taking classes?
00:11:17Oh, I...
00:11:18I had to take a painting class for a while,
00:11:20but I'm really no good.
00:11:21Well, you're not out to make a living, sweetie.
00:11:23Drawing would be good for you.
00:11:24It clears out the cobwebs.
00:11:25I mean, not that you have got any cobwebs.
00:11:27Oh, my God.
00:11:28I had a streak, boy!
00:11:29You walked away when I was on a streak!
00:11:31I had a streak!
00:11:32Come on, boy!
00:11:33You serious, man?
00:11:34Stop!
00:11:35Hey!
00:11:36You boys keep it light now!
00:11:37Come on!
00:11:38Let's go!
00:11:39Come on!
00:11:40You all right?
00:11:41Yeah.
00:11:42I didn't even see him coming.
00:11:43Well, he knocked a living cuss out of you, man.
00:11:45You okay?
00:11:46Yeah, I'm fine.
00:11:48Well, let me pour you a beer on the house.
00:11:50How about it?
00:11:51Okay.
00:11:53I'll pass, Wayne.
00:11:55Thanks.
00:12:00Rebecca!
00:12:03Is she okay?
00:12:04I'm sorry.
00:12:05Sorry.
00:12:06I'm fine.
00:12:07Oh, my God.
00:12:13Yeah, hit him again.
00:12:17Major point, guys.
00:12:22You're welcome.
00:12:48Give me a little warning next time you're gonna have another seizure, okay?
00:12:53I mean, honey, it really was quite a show.
00:12:56It was a muscle spasm.
00:12:57I guess.
00:13:00It hurt a lot.
00:13:02For a second, I felt like somebody hit me.
00:13:06The look on your face, Becky.
00:13:08It was a little much, you know?
00:13:10Even for someone with a muscle spasm.
00:13:14I guess for a second, I was worried this was the beginning of another...
00:13:17It's not.
00:13:20It's not.
00:13:23Okay.
00:13:25I'll give you a shoulder rub when we get home.
00:13:29It doesn't hurt anymore.
00:13:43It's okay.
00:14:13No!
00:14:43We'll undress beside the ashes of the fire
00:14:49Where tender bellies are wound around in baling wire
00:14:55All the more a pair of underwater pearls
00:15:02Than the oak tree and its resurrection for her
00:15:13Than the oak tree and its resurrection for her
00:15:44Hello?
00:15:46What?
00:15:47What time is it?
00:15:49Oh, shit.
00:15:54When we were younger we thought everyone was on our side
00:15:57Oh, shit.
00:15:58Then we grew a little and romanticized the time
00:16:02I saw flowers in your hair
00:16:06Then we grew a little and romanticized the time
00:16:11I saw flowers in your hair
00:16:18It takes a boy to live
00:16:20It takes a man to pretend he was there
00:16:25Be in my eyes
00:16:29Be in my heart
00:16:32Be in my heart
00:16:37So now I think that I can love you back
00:16:41And I hope it's not today
00:16:42Cause you're so attractive
00:16:44And the way you move
00:16:46Outlaws my heart
00:16:49So be in my eyes
00:16:53Be in my heart
00:16:58Hello.
00:16:59Hi.
00:17:01Anything in particular?
00:17:02No, I'm just stocking up.
00:17:15So be in my eyes
00:17:19Be in my heart
00:17:21Let me know on Monday
00:17:24Just to make you feel the way
00:17:32Be in my heart
00:17:45Look out!
00:17:49Fuck!
00:17:50What?
00:17:52What?
00:17:53What?
00:17:54Who's that?
00:17:57Who said that?
00:17:58Stop it.
00:17:59Sam?
00:18:00Who said that?
00:18:02Stop this!
00:18:03Stop this. Stop it.
00:18:05Ma'am, your bag.
00:18:07Oh, shit.
00:18:12Stop it. Stop it. Stop it. Stop it. Stop it. Stop it. Stop it. Stop it. Stop it. Stop it. Stop it.
00:18:19What is this? What's going on?
00:18:21Stop it. Stop this. Stop it.
00:18:23Hey, shut up!
00:18:28Can you hear me?
00:18:30Who are you?
00:18:31I'm sorry.
00:18:32I'm sorry?
00:18:33What am I sorry about?
00:18:34What did I do?
00:18:35Who are you?
00:18:36I asked you that.
00:18:37I'm looking at a store window, and am I looking at a store window?
00:18:44Yes.
00:18:45I am.
00:18:46Are you me?
00:18:47No.
00:18:48No, no, no.
00:18:49You're in my head.
00:18:50You're in my head.
00:18:51I'm having...
00:18:52I'm losing...
00:18:53Oh, God.
00:18:54I'm so scared.
00:18:56I'm losing...
00:18:57Oh, God.
00:18:58I'm so scared.
00:19:00Where am I?
00:19:01What?
00:19:02Where am I?
00:19:03Uh, you're on the road.
00:19:06You're on a road.
00:19:07There's a truck.
00:19:08I don't understand.
00:19:09What does the truck mean?
00:19:11Well, that means I have a truck.
00:19:14It's my truck.
00:19:16I have a truck.
00:19:21You have a truck.
00:19:22Yeah.
00:19:24Wow, what do you have?
00:19:25What?
00:19:26Oh, um, a Range Rover.
00:19:29Nice.
00:19:30Safe.
00:19:35I can see out there.
00:19:38I can see here, too.
00:19:42It's like one's close and one's far away.
00:19:46I just focus, and I can see what's here.
00:19:52What's in my head?
00:19:54This ain't your head, lady.
00:19:55This is New Mexico.
00:19:58Wait, you're real.
00:20:01You're a real person.
00:20:04Oh, that's the sweetest thing anybody's said to me all day.
00:20:08I don't understand this.
00:20:13It's cold.
00:20:15Wait, are you cold there?
00:20:18Yeah.
00:20:19Um, it's almost winter.
00:20:21I can feel it.
00:20:23Oh, this is too crazy.
00:20:24And I can hear you like...
00:20:25Like I hear myself.
00:20:30Where are you?
00:20:31If you're not in my head, then where are you?
00:20:34Exeter, New Hampshire.
00:20:36New Hampshire?
00:20:38Get out of here.
00:20:40Wait a minute.
00:20:41What time is it?
00:20:42You know, what day?
00:20:43Um, it's Thursday the, um, 24th.
00:20:49Okay, well, that's today, I think.
00:20:51Do you have a watch?
00:20:53Yeah.
00:20:57Oh, my God.
00:20:59You're in the future.
00:21:01You're two hours in the future!
00:21:03No.
00:21:04I'm in a different time zone.
00:21:07Oh, yeah, right.
00:21:11Do you hear my thoughts?
00:21:13I don't know.
00:21:14Uh, think something.
00:21:16Okay.
00:21:18What should I think about?
00:21:20I'm not allowed to tell you.
00:21:22Right.
00:21:24Okay.
00:21:28You know, I-I got nothing.
00:21:30I'm thinking about new sneakers.
00:21:33Okay.
00:21:34That's a weird one.
00:21:35Uh, all right, well, hey, what if we just both...
00:21:37Rebecca, are you all right?
00:21:39Hello?
00:21:41Hi.
00:21:43Chief Booth.
00:21:45Are you okay?
00:21:46Yes.
00:21:47I'm fine.
00:21:49I'm so sorry.
00:21:50I think I fell.
00:21:51I think I'm...
00:21:52Did you hurt yourself?
00:21:53No, I think maybe I had bad clams or something.
00:21:57Um, are you...
00:21:59How are you?
00:22:00How's Audrey?
00:22:01I'm good.
00:22:02She's great.
00:22:03Are you sure you're all right?
00:22:04Yeah, I'm-I'm great.
00:22:05I'm great.
00:22:07Maybe if you'd just, um, walk me to my car to be sure.
00:22:11Absolutely.
00:22:12You know, I'm...
00:22:13Where are you?
00:22:14I think I'm parked right over here.
00:22:15Are you sure?
00:22:16I'm totally fine.
00:22:22Are you there?
00:22:26Wow.
00:22:27Uh, guess we got disconnected.
00:22:29Yeah, someone came.
00:22:31I had to cut you off.
00:22:32So, wait, how?
00:22:34I mean, I could feel you trying to come in.
00:22:36It was, um, this kind of swimmy feeling in the back of my head,
00:22:39but I could stop it.
00:22:42That's good to know.
00:22:44Yeah.
00:22:46Um, I can't talk here.
00:22:49People are, um, staring at me.
00:22:51Right.
00:22:52Yeah, and assuming I still got a job, I need to get to it.
00:22:54But, uh, I mean, we got to talk about all this.
00:22:57Okay.
00:22:58Later, though.
00:22:59Um, 7 o'clock?
00:23:01Okay.
00:23:02Well, wait, that's, uh...
00:23:03That's 5 my time.
00:23:04I'm still at work.
00:23:05Say 10?
00:23:068 for me?
00:23:07Yeah, great, fine, okay.
00:23:09Okay.
00:23:10Uh, and if, you know, it doesn't work for some reason, then, uh...
00:23:15It was nice meeting you.
00:23:21Hey, it's snowing.
00:23:27Hey.
00:23:30What's up?
00:23:33Hey.
00:23:36Hey.
00:23:39Hey.
00:23:42Hey.
00:23:45Hey.
00:23:48Hey.
00:23:51Hey.
00:23:54What's up?
00:24:22Oh, my God, it's almost 10.
00:24:24Why, yes, it is.
00:24:27Is it some cause for excitement?
00:24:29No, no, no, no.
00:24:31It's just we ate so late.
00:24:33Yeah, I told you it was going to be a long day.
00:24:35Yeah, I know.
00:24:36No, I was just, I just meant...
00:24:38I just meant you must be tired and thinking about going to bed.
00:24:41Well, I'm not.
00:24:43Is that okay?
00:24:44Of course.
00:24:45Good.
00:24:50Thank you.
00:25:03Actually, um, there was a show I wanted to, uh, to watch.
00:25:07Oh, yeah, that sounds fun for you.
00:25:20Oh, my God.
00:25:25Well, yeah, hi.
00:25:29Oh, boy, did I not expect this to work.
00:25:32I thought I was just...
00:25:34I know, I did, too.
00:25:36Oh, man, okay.
00:25:38Well, uh, I just, I spent all day just trying to think why this could be happening.
00:25:45So?
00:25:46I mean, did you come up with anything?
00:25:48Well, you know, one thing did occur to me.
00:25:51Are you, by any chance, Satan?
00:25:56No, um, my name is Rebecca.
00:26:03Wow, I didn't even think of that.
00:26:05I'm Dylan.
00:26:07Dylan, that's nice.
00:26:12This is a nice room.
00:26:14Uh, is this your place?
00:26:15Uh, yeah, this is my house.
00:26:17I mean, it's my husband's.
00:26:20Oh, you're married.
00:26:22Yeah, why not?
00:26:23I mean, you got a name, you could be married, too.
00:26:26Did you tell him about it?
00:26:28Um, no, I, uh, I just wasn't sure.
00:26:36Yeah, I mean, I don't know.
00:26:38Maybe it's better if you don't right away.
00:26:41I don't know, this is just hard enough to believe if it's happening to you.
00:26:44Yeah, I'm gonna wait.
00:26:48Wait, so this is your house?
00:26:53No, it's, yeah, yeah, it is, but, uh, it's a little messy.
00:26:58It's kind of the maid's decade off.
00:27:04Wait, what are you doing?
00:27:06It's better this way.
00:27:08You shouldn't have to.
00:27:10I don't really have girls over too much.
00:27:13Oh, my God, I have to ask you.
00:27:16Did you, um, did you get hit last night on the shoulder, like, like really hard?
00:27:23No, I didn't.
00:27:25I have to ask you.
00:27:27Did you, um, did you get hit last night on the shoulder, like, like really hard?
00:27:33Yeah, I sure did.
00:27:35Some bitch just, like, came at me.
00:27:37With a pool cue.
00:27:39I know, it was there.
00:27:41And I was also at this dinner party.
00:27:45Impacting the most impoverished patients among us with transformative health care.
00:27:52I had to fend him off.
00:27:54Becky?
00:27:58Hi, sorry, it's Becky Madden.
00:28:01I was just telling her about my smooth move last night.
00:28:04Oh, you must tell it really well.
00:28:07Yeah, what was that?
00:28:09Oh, God, yes, the kids sound amazing.
00:28:13I can't believe that.
00:28:16That was very smooth.
00:28:17Thank you, Becky.
00:28:22So that was your husband?
00:28:24Oh, yeah, um, yeah, that's Phillip.
00:28:29Good looking guy?
00:28:30Yeah, doctor.
00:28:32He runs the, um, hospital here.
00:28:35Oh, professional man.
00:28:38Yeah.
00:28:42I should probably go.
00:28:44Well, uh, do you want to talk again tomorrow?
00:28:49Okay, but after Phillip goes to work.
00:28:53You're not, like, planning on getting hit again, are you?
00:28:56Well, let's see.
00:28:57It's not in my book.
00:28:59Ah, that wasn't a thing anyway.
00:29:00Worst I ever took was...
00:29:04Oh, my God.
00:29:07What?
00:29:08Let me ask you something.
00:29:09Did you ever go sledding?
00:29:11Did you ever go sledding and get really hurt?
00:29:15I hit a tree.
00:29:17Jesus H. God!
00:29:20I got knocked out cold.
00:29:22I mean, I must have been out for more than a minute.
00:29:26I still have the scar.
00:29:30Tell him that was 20 years ago.
00:29:33I'll be damned.
00:29:47I got 12 stitches.
00:30:10And my mom never let me go sledding again.
00:30:16That I was all that keen to.
00:30:18Hey, what about when you were, like, I don't know, maybe 16?
00:30:22I mean, you were all torn up about something.
00:30:25I want to say it was, like, the dead of summer.
00:30:27And, I mean, it must have been a killer,
00:30:28because I must have been crossed out for a month.
00:30:31That is so embarrassing.
00:30:34What?
00:30:35I can't tell you.
00:30:36It's, um, too personal.
00:30:38Oh, come on.
00:30:39You got to.
00:30:40You owe me a whole July.
00:30:43That was Walter, my first boyfriend.
00:30:49I was so in love with him.
00:30:51He was 20, you know.
00:30:53I don't know.
00:30:54We went out for, like, two months,
00:30:55and then he broke up with me right after we, you know.
00:30:59Oh.
00:31:00Oh.
00:31:01No wonder.
00:31:02Yeah.
00:31:04I mean, like, right after.
00:31:07What a dick.
00:31:09Sorry if I, uh, ruined your summer.
00:31:13No, it's cool.
00:31:15I was, you know, pretty used to having, like, weird moods
00:31:19and, you know, stuff I couldn't really explain.
00:31:21Yeah, me too.
00:31:23I pretty much thought that you were PMS.
00:31:25Yeah, a lot of people get us mixed up.
00:31:29I remember some other stuff, too, but I don't know.
00:31:32I guess it's all kind of personal.
00:31:35Like your mom.
00:31:37Yeah, that figures.
00:31:40You were in college, right?
00:31:42Yeah.
00:31:44She wasn't ever very well.
00:31:46She was like me, kind of.
00:31:50Um, not much of a physical specimen.
00:31:55Dylan, there's something.
00:31:58It didn't make any sense to me at the time,
00:32:00but, you know, I always felt like there was someone with me.
00:32:04You know, just like a feeling.
00:32:06I felt it, um, more strongly than ever after she died.
00:32:11It helped.
00:32:13Did you ever feel that way?
00:32:16Why don't you tell me?
00:32:19I remember your first night in prison.
00:32:23Oh, yeah, right.
00:32:25Time to come clean.
00:32:29What did you do?
00:32:31I, uh, just go with locks.
00:32:34Not that good with silent alarms.
00:32:38Got two years in with mostly lifers.
00:32:44Yeah, I figured that was nightmares.
00:32:46It was really terrifying.
00:32:48Yeah.
00:32:50Yeah, I never felt as alone as I did in there doing my bid.
00:32:54You weren't.
00:32:59Hey.
00:33:01Jesus, hey.
00:33:02What?
00:33:03Go look in the mirror.
00:33:06What?
00:33:07Come on.
00:33:08I don't even hardly know what you look like,
00:33:10except mostly your hands.
00:33:11Um, um.
00:33:13Go on, show me.
00:33:15I, you know, why don't you do that?
00:33:18Because.
00:33:20I asked first.
00:33:21Well, I'm not doing it unless you do, too.
00:33:25Okay, but after you.
00:33:28I'm not even dressed.
00:33:30Well, come on, whose fault is that?
00:33:31Lazy bones.
00:33:32Let's go.
00:33:35Fine.
00:33:45This is ridiculous.
00:33:46I'm scared.
00:33:47Oh, come on.
00:33:48What do you got to be scared of?
00:33:49Shut up.
00:33:50You're scared, too.
00:33:51Okay.
00:33:53I'm going to the mirror now.
00:34:02Okay.
00:34:16God, I'm beautiful.
00:34:18Oh, don't be stupid.
00:34:20Yeah, no, when I said beautiful, like I meant, you know,
00:34:22ugly, work covered, right?
00:34:24What did I say?
00:34:25Just don't flatter me because I said that I'm in prison with you.
00:34:28What are you talking about?
00:34:30I'm having fun being a beautiful girl there.
00:34:32I was all ready to go buy hats or something.
00:34:35Go back.
00:34:36No.
00:34:37No, it's your turn.
00:34:38Hold on.
00:34:39Just give me a second.
00:34:41It's your turn.
00:34:49Read them and wait.
00:34:55You've got such a nice face.
00:34:58Nice, huh?
00:35:00Oh, no.
00:35:04I mean, yeah, it is.
00:35:06Well, it ain't much, but it does cover my unsightly skull,
00:35:09so that's a plus.
00:35:21Hi.
00:35:23Hi.
00:35:29No, no.
00:35:31No, it was nothing like that.
00:35:33We, um, we actually met when he lectured at my school.
00:35:40I know, it sounds terrible, but it was really nice.
00:35:45We just got along great.
00:35:47What did you say?
00:35:48Oh, nothing.
00:35:49I was at the phone.
00:35:50Did you figure it out?
00:35:52I wish I could describe it better.
00:35:54It was like a chugging noise.
00:35:56Yeah, I know.
00:35:57What it is, you got a crack in your manifold.
00:35:59They go on you.
00:36:00Need to replace it.
00:36:01Okay.
00:36:02Let me check my stock
00:36:03and probably rack you up today, yeah?
00:36:05Yeah, that's great.
00:36:06Excellent.
00:36:07Thank you.
00:36:08What year is your truck?
00:36:09Oh, uh, 2010.
00:36:12There's no way the exhaust system on a Range Rover
00:36:14would go after just a few years.
00:36:16Here, turn her over.
00:36:19Okay, now go look under the hood.
00:36:22Like, what, now?
00:36:24No, after he charges you $1,200,
00:36:26after he charges you $1,200.
00:36:27Yeah, come on.
00:36:37Okay.
00:36:40What am I looking at?
00:36:44Okay.
00:36:46That sounds like it could just be the sensor got loose,
00:36:48so that should be over by the ABS.
00:36:50I don't know what that is.
00:36:53That, that, that boxy thing there.
00:36:56Okay, over here?
00:36:58Mm, no.
00:37:00Okay, try the other side.
00:37:02Over here?
00:37:04Uh, it's like a multi-prong thing.
00:37:07You're looking for, like, a multi-prong plug-in thing.
00:37:09See that?
00:37:11Yeah, yeah, that's it.
00:37:13What do I do with it?
00:37:15There, look, it's loose.
00:37:16Plug it in.
00:37:17That's your problem right there.
00:37:20The sound stopped.
00:37:21Yep.
00:37:22That's it?
00:37:23That's it.
00:37:24I fixed it.
00:37:25Yes, you did, darling.
00:37:27Hey, we're in luck.
00:37:28I can take you today.
00:37:29We are in luck.
00:37:30The intake and exhaust manifolds are both fine.
00:37:32The, um, uh...
00:37:34Sensor.
00:37:35Sensor just needed tightening.
00:37:37I don't think that's gonna do you much good in the long run,
00:37:39but, yeah, I can take care of it for you.
00:37:41No, that's all right.
00:37:42I already did it.
00:37:43Thanks, Dan.
00:37:47And they put me in prison.
00:37:52β™ͺβ™ͺβ™ͺ

00:40:04So, how's the auto-cleansing business treating you?
00:40:07Actually, I've been thinking about looking for some new work.
00:40:10Who with? Bo? Lyle?
00:40:12I want to see if I can't scare off something better.
00:40:14I mean, I ain't gonna quit or nothing.
00:40:16Not until I'm sure, but...
00:40:19What's with you?
00:40:21What?
00:40:22You look like you about to kiss me.
00:40:24Well, I mean, when the light hits you like that,
00:40:27something about your head...
00:40:28Well, solicitation is a crime,
00:40:30so what's going on, Kershaw?
00:40:32Nothing's going on.
00:40:35For such a smart man, you are piss poli.
00:40:44I met someone.
00:40:48Well, there it is.
00:40:50Yeah.
00:40:51You getting your pecker waxed, huh?
00:40:53She know you a kind?
00:40:55She doesn't seem to mind.
00:40:57Oh, you got you one of them classy women.
00:41:00You'd be surprised.
00:41:02Nothing you do could surprise me.
00:41:08Over there.
00:41:18I like that you told him you had a girlfriend.
00:41:20Yeah, well, some people will believe anything.
00:41:22Come on, you've had girlfriends.
00:41:24Nothing that lasted more than a few dates.
00:41:27It's not good with women.
00:41:30What about your man needs?
00:41:32Becky, I got a man like a sewer.
00:41:38Shoot.
00:41:40Move the other six back, and then you can move that one over.
00:41:43No, dummy, that's cheating.
00:41:45Cheating? It's creative.
00:41:47It's no fun to cheat.
00:41:49It's no fun if you win.
00:41:50Only reason you don't cheat
00:41:52is because you're afraid someone will get mad.
00:41:54Can't always do what you're told, darling.
00:41:56Spoken like a true convict.
00:42:03I'm sorry.
00:42:04What? No, no, yeah, it's okay.
00:42:08I got no right to be touchy. It's all true.
00:42:15Hey, uh, I think I figured it out.
00:42:19You know, why it happened,
00:42:21or why we opened it up when we did.
00:42:23Really? Really.
00:42:24Why?
00:42:26Why not?
00:42:34What up, dill pickle?
00:42:38Uh, I got to go, Becky.
00:42:40Got something I got to do.
00:42:42Okay, I'll see you.
00:42:46Grooming tech supply.
00:42:48The bitch is ripe, Dylan.
00:42:50Is it?
00:42:51You know our cousin Adam,
00:42:52the one who beat that aggravated assault charge
00:42:54against that 7-Eleven clerk?
00:42:55Kicked his lard ass looking down the freezer section?
00:42:57He's been working maintenance in the office park.
00:42:59He says grooming is empty as church service
00:43:02on a Super Bowl Sunday.
00:43:03Here's the best part.
00:43:05No silent alarms.
00:43:06Don't it just make your heart sing?
00:43:08I don't know.
00:43:09You know Giddens is just drooling
00:43:10for me to make a move like this.
00:43:12Don't worry about Giddens. He'll sleep through it.
00:43:14Your end is two hours at most.
00:43:16You open up the pearly gates, we handle the rest.
00:43:19You don't want to be seen with us.
00:43:20Yeah, I get it. I get it, man.
00:43:22Hell, we'll mail you your cut.
00:43:24I could use some walking around money.
00:43:26Yeah, but this is more than just walking around money.
00:43:28We got a fence lined up in Wilberfield.
00:43:30It's gonna buy the whole lot.
00:43:32If your parole gets through,
00:43:34this is you setting up in a new town.
00:43:36Like a proper man.
00:43:38All you got to do is keep the pretty trap shut,
00:43:41dill pickle.
00:43:43Who's ever gonna know?
00:43:51I don't know. I just...
00:43:53Ain't exactly good timing for me.
00:43:55What else are you gonna do, man?
00:43:57You just gonna go wax a bunch of caddies?
00:43:59Dylan, this was your idea.
00:44:01When you got out, you asked for some action.
00:44:03Something to get back on your feet, something safe.
00:44:05Now this is way the hell out in Bedlow,
00:44:08and all that equipment's just sitting there.
00:44:10It ain't no bodies. It's gonna rust.
00:44:12It's a victim here.
00:44:14Just a true convict.
00:44:16Dylan, we let you in on this because you asked.
00:44:18Now, I don't like you knowing
00:44:20if you don't have a stake in it.
00:44:25We'll be waiting on you, boy.
00:44:30Catch you soon, dill pickle.
00:44:42β™ͺβ™ͺβ™ͺβ™ͺβ™ͺβ™ͺ
00:44:45β™ͺβ™ͺβ™ͺβ™ͺβ™ͺ
00:44:50We need Dr. Watson.
00:44:52Dr. Watson, this is Ellie.
00:44:54β™ͺβ™ͺβ™ͺβ™ͺβ™ͺ
00:45:08Hey.
00:45:09Oh.
00:45:11Sorry you startled me.
00:45:12Sorry.
00:45:14You know how I get in these places.
00:45:16Yeah, I do, which is why I'm surprised to see you here.
00:45:18Is everything all right?
00:45:20Yeah, everything's fine.
00:45:22I was around, and I had a wild notion
00:45:24you might be free for lunch.
00:45:26Uh...
00:45:28That was a pretty wild notion.
00:45:30Look, I've still got my doctor's cap on, I'm afraid.
00:45:33Maynard's here to discuss his research program.
00:45:36Oh, the, um, the schizophrenic narco-
00:45:39Psychotherapy.
00:45:40It's a big word, huh?
00:45:43Oh, which reminds me, next Thursday's the big fundraiser,
00:45:45so don't put us down for anything.
00:45:47Okay.
00:45:48Okay, good.
00:45:52Dennis.
00:45:53Hello.
00:45:54You remember my wife, Becky?
00:45:56Oh, yes.
00:45:57Nice to see you again.
00:45:58Dr. Maynard.
00:45:59Do you two have plans?
00:46:01Oh, no, um...
00:46:03I just need to remember to call ahead first
00:46:05if I'm going to be spontaneous.
00:46:07I see.
00:46:10Okay, I'll just leave you guys then.
00:46:12Okay, I shouldn't be late for dinner.
00:46:14Okay, and I'll see you Thursday at the fundraiser.
00:46:17I look forward to it.
00:46:23It's hard to tell right off.
00:46:25Yeah, I wish you could have spent more time with her.
00:46:27I didn't know she was coming.
00:46:29I see what you're talking about.
00:46:31Her body language is very protective,
00:46:34very concealing.
00:46:36Deeply uncomfortable.
00:46:38It's odd.
00:46:40Yeah, she's always been skittish.
00:46:42I-I just, I don't know.
00:46:46Wait, wait, who's this guy?
00:46:48That's Mufflin Mike.
00:46:49Mufflin's been a buster for about eight years,
00:46:51so everyone knows when he's coming.
00:46:53And that is Bob Greasy, we call him.
00:46:58Yep, Greasy Bob.
00:47:00Okay, so it's not brilliant, but...
00:47:07Yeah, I actually worked with him once on a highway job.
00:47:12He's got a real interesting smell.
00:47:21You got a problem, buddy?
00:47:23Tell him to go fuck himself.
00:47:25No, no.
00:47:26Go fuck yourself, dude.
00:47:27No problem at all.
00:47:28We're cool.
00:47:29Such a wimp.
00:47:30Would you like it when we get hit?
00:47:36Hey, who's that?
00:47:38She's hot.
00:47:39Yeah, that's Donna.
00:47:40She's a nice girl.
00:47:41She's a nice girl?
00:47:43Is she married?
00:47:44Is she covered in sores?
00:47:46Not to hear it.
00:47:48Wait, she's waving.
00:47:50I know.
00:47:51You guys are friends.
00:47:52Ask her out.
00:47:53I'm not gonna just ask her.
00:47:54No, don't be a wuss.
00:47:55You know you want her.
00:47:56Shut up.
00:47:57Look, she's coming over.
00:47:59What is this strange power you have over women?
00:48:02If you don't shut up, I'm gonna set you out.
00:48:04Not when your girlfriend's here.
00:48:05Hey, Dylan.
00:48:06Come to your wench.
00:48:08Hey, Donna.
00:48:09Hey.
00:48:10Are you, uh, here alone?
00:48:12Oh, Jenny's supposed to be coming, but...
00:48:16haven't seen you around much lately.
00:48:19Haven't been around?
00:48:20Duh.
00:48:21Say you like her shoes.
00:48:23Uh, not like your shoes.
00:48:25Did their date work?
00:48:27I can't believe you noticed them.
00:48:28I got them on sale.
00:48:29They pretty much go with everything you know.
00:48:31See?
00:48:32You compliment them on something they did or bought.
00:48:34Not like their eyes or something they were born with.
00:48:36That's how they know that you like them.
00:48:38You like their taste.
00:48:39You like their...
00:48:40Shut up.
00:48:41Hmm?
00:48:42Oh, I just hate this song.
00:48:44You're joking.
00:48:45This is, like, my favorite song.
00:48:46Oh, I know.
00:48:47I just, I've heard it so many times.
00:48:49Oh, yeah, that's true.
00:48:50They do play it a lot.
00:48:53Ask her out.
00:48:55Ask her out.
00:48:56Ask her out.
00:48:57Say, Donna, I was thinking, uh...
00:49:00Are you...
00:49:01Are you busy Tuesday night?
00:49:04I'm busy most nights.
00:49:06Oh.
00:49:09What did you have in mind?
00:49:11Oh, I just thought that, uh...
00:49:14I could cook for you.
00:49:15I could cook for you.
00:49:16I could cook you dinner.
00:49:18You cook?
00:49:19Yeah, I mean, well, a thing or two.
00:49:22What do you like?
00:49:24Um, well, I like steaks.
00:49:27Big steaks.
00:49:28All right, all right, yeah.
00:49:29I could, uh...
00:49:30I'll fix you up a rare steak
00:49:32with a fancy sauce and trimmings for days.
00:49:35Okay.
00:49:36Even if you're not too busy.
00:49:37I am so smooth.
00:49:38Tuesday, I'm seeing my mama,
00:49:39but I think Thursday, I'm free.
00:49:41Dinner.
00:49:42Dinner at 630.
00:49:43No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
00:49:44I'm busy Thursday night.
00:49:46You're not coming.
00:49:47Jenny's here.
00:49:48So, 630.
00:49:50630.
00:49:51Okay, gotta go.
00:49:52See you.
00:49:53Bye.
00:49:54Phillip and I have a fundraiser Thursday night.
00:49:56You don't?
00:49:57Yeah, what you think I want?
00:49:58You coming on my date,
00:49:59telling me how to kiss and stuff?
00:50:00Who made you ask her out?
00:50:01You couldn't even talk to her.
00:50:02You're nothing without me.
00:50:03Still not coming.
00:50:05I made you, and I can break you.
00:50:07Ha, ha, ha.
00:50:10Mmm.
00:50:29This event is going to be so great
00:50:31for our narcotherapy project.
00:50:33The charity donation is just like any other investment.
00:50:36You want to know your money is being put to good use.
00:50:39Wow, you know, I can't think of a better place
00:50:41to put your money than in the research fund.
00:50:43Well, of course you can't.
00:50:45Your husband's on the board.
00:50:47Well, no, you're right.
00:50:49Sick people are always the best.
00:50:51Real lump-in-the-throat stuff.
00:50:53These hospital charities give me cripples every time.
00:50:56Oh, these are psychos, not cripples.
00:50:58But, you know, um, would you mind excusing me?
00:51:01Oh, no, uh...
00:51:10How's it going?
00:51:11What?
00:51:12How's it going?
00:51:13Oh, I'm fine, yeah.
00:51:15Why?
00:51:16What do you want?
00:51:18Nothing, I'm just checking in, seeing how it's going.
00:51:21Yeah, everything's great.
00:51:23Just us is burning.
00:51:25This is nuts.
00:51:27I haven't cooked anything that didn't take microwave instructions since ever.
00:51:31Here, smell this.
00:51:35What is that, um, rosemary?
00:51:37Yeah, too much?
00:51:38No, no.
00:51:40It's a little thick, though.
00:51:42Yeah, you said it was supposed to be thick.
00:51:44Yeah, but just maybe not as thick as a brick.
00:51:48What?
00:51:50Oh, you hate this shirt.
00:51:51No, it's...
00:51:52Oh, this is the wrong shirt.
00:51:53Women everywhere revile this shirt.
00:51:55Ellen, maintain.
00:51:58The tie's a little rodeo, but it's going to be okay.
00:52:01Yeah, easy for you to say.
00:52:03How was your money dinner?
00:52:04Oh, you know, stuff shirts and monomers.
00:52:06I just have to worry about not falling asleep.
00:52:09Oh, I'm sorry.
00:52:10It's okay.
00:52:11It's okay.
00:52:12It's okay.
00:52:13It's okay.
00:52:14It's okay.
00:52:15I just have to worry about not falling asleep.
00:52:17Shh.
00:52:20Thanks.
00:52:21You're going to be great.
00:52:22Good luck.
00:52:23Thanks.
00:52:30Hi.
00:52:31Hey, man.
00:52:32Good.
00:52:33How are you?
00:52:34Welcome to...
00:52:35Oh, shit.
00:52:36Hold that.
00:52:38Okay.
00:52:40Everything...
00:52:41Oh, that's good.
00:52:42Yeah, that'll be great.
00:52:43Yeah.
00:52:44Come on in.
00:52:45Okay.
00:52:50I've never seen your place before.
00:52:52You haven't?
00:52:53I thought...
00:52:54You weren't out here for the 4th?
00:52:56I don't think so.
00:52:57Oh, I thought you were.
00:52:59Yeah.
00:53:00I had a barbecue.
00:53:01It's kind of my own kind of thing.
00:53:03Yeah.
00:53:04I had a barbecue.
00:53:05It's kind of my own concept.
00:53:07Barbecue on the 4th of July.
00:53:09Lots of people do that.
00:53:12Uh, I, uh...
00:53:14Oh, I really like your shoes.
00:53:18You got a thing for feet?
00:53:20Dated a guy like that once.
00:53:22Real weirdo.
00:53:23No.
00:53:24No, I don't.
00:53:25Would you...
00:53:26Can I get you something to drink?
00:53:27I did pick up some red wine, if you like.
00:53:29Oh.
00:53:30You got a beer?
00:53:32Oh, yeah.
00:53:33Yeah, definitely.
00:53:34I'll take one of those, actually.
00:53:36Thanks.
00:53:37This is a twist.
00:53:38Yeah.
00:53:39Cheers.
00:53:40Cheers.
00:53:44So, you really cook and everything?
00:53:47Now and then.
00:53:51Ew.
00:53:52What's this?
00:53:53It's the sauce.
00:53:57That smells kind of crazy.
00:53:59Ugh, bimbo.
00:54:02Well, that's enough for tonight.
00:54:04Okay.
00:54:08Yeah.
00:54:09I don't like my steaks all fancy.
00:54:11Just burn black with tons of ketchup.
00:54:13Figures.
00:54:15Figures what?
00:54:17Sorry?
00:54:19I thought you had spoken.
00:54:21Oh, gosh.
00:54:22I think...
00:54:23Maybe I did.
00:54:25I think I was...
00:54:29Oh, no!
00:54:30Hot! Hot! Hot!
00:54:32Oh!
00:54:33In the sink!
00:54:34Put it in the sink!
00:54:36In the sink! In the sink!
00:54:46There.
00:54:48Happy now?
00:54:49Me?
00:54:50Maybe you better go wash that off, honey.
00:54:52Stay out of this, Phil.
00:54:58Oh, God.
00:54:59I'm so sorry.
00:55:01Yeah, why don't you go to the bathroom?
00:55:03Collect yourself.
00:55:05You're right, honey.
00:55:06Yeah.
00:55:08It's okay.
00:55:09It's okay.
00:55:10You guys okay?
00:55:11Yeah.
00:55:12Did you get anything on you?
00:55:13No, I'm fine.
00:55:14Is she all right?
00:55:15Yeah.
00:55:16She's fine.
00:55:17She's fine.
00:55:23Who's Phil?
00:55:26It's okay.
00:55:28Just give me a second.
00:55:31Okay.
00:55:34What did you think you were doing?
00:55:36I told you not to come along anyway.
00:55:37I had everything under control.
00:55:38You had everything on fire!
00:55:40Yeah, well, that's the way I like it.
00:55:41Sure.
00:55:42Burnt black.
00:55:43Tons of ketchup.
00:55:44It's none of your business what she eats.
00:55:46You yuppie snob.
00:55:47That's my date.
00:55:48Yeah, well, you know, you sure know how to pick them.
00:55:50What's the matter?
00:55:51Are you jealous?
00:55:53No, I'm not jealous!
00:55:55Then butt out.
00:55:56Why don't you make me?
00:55:59Just make me.
00:56:00You think I won't?
00:56:01Yeah, sure.
00:56:02Try.
00:56:06There.
00:56:07That's all you got?
00:56:08Huh?
00:56:09Stop it.
00:56:10Did it again.
00:56:11Did it again.
00:56:12Dylan, stop.
00:56:13Stop it.
00:56:14I won't.
00:56:15No, I'm not going to.
00:56:16I won't.
00:56:20Hey, Donna.
00:56:21Hey.
00:56:22Hey.
00:56:23I was just putting on some aftershave.
00:56:26Just freshening up a little.
00:56:28Here you go.
00:56:32Donna.
00:56:37Dylan?
00:56:39Donna, wait!
00:56:43I was just making a joke.
00:56:45I was just putting on aftershave.
00:56:53Ugh.
00:57:06You are going to speak to me again before we die, right?
00:57:08What do you want me to say, Rebecca?
00:57:10Thank you.
00:57:11I'm so glad you made us look like idiots.
00:57:14You didn't even apologize to Dr. Maynard.
00:57:16I don't like Dr. Maynard.
00:57:18He always looks at me like he's trying to guess my weight.
00:57:20He was trying to raise money for an important project I happen to be involved with.
00:57:26Philip, I can't say what happened.
00:57:29I think maybe I dozed off for a second.
00:57:33I was confused.
00:57:35Haven't you ever done that?
00:57:36That's not it.
00:57:38I mean, that may be true, but...
00:57:43Something is happening to you.
00:57:45Something is happening to you.
00:57:48And I don't know if it's what happened before or not.
00:57:51It's not.
00:57:52Believe me.
00:57:53Okay, then what?
00:57:55What?
00:57:58I don't know, Philip.
00:57:59Sometimes...
00:58:03Sometimes you just look at everything and it's all just different.
00:58:09Do you know?
00:58:10Yeah, I do.
00:58:11They call that puberty.
00:58:13No, it isn't just then.
00:58:14It never stops.
00:58:17It's like, um...
00:58:20Like shedding your skin.
00:58:24Is that what you're doing?
00:58:27Shedding?
00:58:30Yeah, I guess sort of.
00:58:35Shedding me?
00:58:38No.
00:58:41No.
00:58:44Hmm.
00:59:14Okay.
00:59:44Okay.
01:00:06Hi.
01:00:07Hi.
01:00:12I'm really sorry.
01:00:13I know.
01:00:14I messed it up.
01:00:15I know.
01:00:16No, no.
01:00:17That's cool.
01:00:18I wouldn't mess it up myself anyway.
01:00:19You just saved me time.
01:00:20Give yourself a little credit.
01:00:22That girl really likes you.
01:00:24Well, if she did, I think she got over that pretty quick
01:00:26when she caught me talking to the little man inside my head.
01:00:29Yeah.
01:00:31Right.
01:00:34It's just sometimes when I'm with you, I forget myself.
01:00:38You feel funny.
01:00:40What?
01:00:41Don't you feel funny?
01:00:42Like, not...
01:00:44Not a fever, but...
01:00:46Oh.
01:00:47I, um...
01:00:49I was, uh...
01:00:51Previously engaged in a certain kind of activity, and, um...
01:00:54Nope.
01:00:55Uh, uh...
01:00:59Well, you smell nice.
01:01:02Yeah.
01:01:04Well, you smell nice.
01:01:07Kind of sweaty?
01:01:11Sorry. That, um...
01:01:13That was out of line. I didn't, uh...
01:01:18I should go.
01:01:23Okay. Um...
01:01:25Look, I'm sorry about tonight.
01:01:27Yeah, me too.
01:01:28Um...
01:01:32Good night.
01:01:34Good night.
01:01:38Good night.
01:01:41Good night.
01:01:48Good night.
01:01:54Okay, well, wait. Here comes the good one.
01:01:57Number seven. How does your partner rate as a lover?
01:01:59Pass.
01:02:00No, wait.
01:02:01Pass, pass, pass.
01:02:02It's none of your business.
01:02:03Of course it's my business. Hush up.
01:02:05You describe your lovemaking as...
01:02:07A. Wild animals.
01:02:09B. Sweet and slow.
01:02:11C. At least he tries.
01:02:13D. Additional...
01:02:14Who's he talking to?
01:02:15I don't know.
01:02:16Um...
01:02:17B.
01:02:18A. No, no.
01:02:20Yeah.
01:02:21B.
01:02:22Okay, if you say so.
01:02:24Nine. How often do you and your man...
01:02:26No, pass.
01:02:27Why?
01:02:28Pass.
01:02:29Come on, this isn't going to work unless...
01:02:30Wait.
01:02:31Turn up the radio.
01:02:34Oh, you like this?
01:02:37Yeah.
01:02:38I love this song.
01:02:40Oh, yeah, I remember this.
01:02:42I stand up
01:02:44So I can't fall
01:02:47I storm out
01:02:49So I can wait for you to call
01:02:52I just look at you
01:02:54Baby, that's all
01:02:57I'm crumbling
01:03:00I'm crumbling
01:03:02I wake up
01:03:03And you're not there
01:03:06I call all my friends
01:03:09And tell them I don't care
01:03:11I'm so cool, baby
01:03:13And never a man
01:03:16I'm crumbling
01:03:18I'm crumbling
01:03:30Hey.
01:03:31Hello.
01:03:33Hi.
01:03:34Is this more, uh, shedding?
01:03:37No.
01:03:39This is dancing.
01:03:42Yeah, it is.
01:03:45Okay, um...
01:03:46I'll see you.
01:03:48So what brings the party down here?
01:03:50I was just looking for my old photo albums.
01:03:53I thought they were in the corner.
01:03:55Uh, yeah.
01:03:56Yeah, last time I saw them, they were...
01:04:00God, I hope Bridget didn't throw them out.
01:04:02No, that doesn't make any sense.
01:04:04She was last...
01:04:05Hey, you know, I ran into Diane.
01:04:06She said you were going to do the painting class.
01:04:09The drawing class.
01:04:10The drawing class, yeah.
01:04:11Yeah, I don't have to.
01:04:13What? No, I think that's great.
01:04:15You know, get you out of your...
01:04:16The...
01:04:17Cellar.
01:04:21Why would Bridget throw out my photos?
01:04:23No, no, I'm not saying...
01:04:24Just, you know, whatever.
01:04:25By accident.
01:04:26What do you want with them, anyway?
01:04:28Nothing.
01:04:29I just wanted to show them to...
01:04:30To...
01:04:31To, um...
01:04:34Myself.
01:04:35Look at them.
01:04:36I mean, I'm not saying don't find them.
01:04:38It's a healthy thing.
01:04:39That's good.
01:04:40And actually, I can help you look for them.
01:04:42I have my, uh...
01:04:43Council meeting at six, but, um...
01:04:45You know, it won't kill me to be a few minutes late.
01:04:48Yes, it will.
01:04:52Thank you for knowing that about me.
01:04:58Hey, is my, uh, grey shirt clean?
01:05:01Uh, yeah, I'll check.
01:05:02Thank you.
01:05:13Everything come out all right?
01:05:18You're drunk.
01:05:20I ain't had hardly nothing to drink.
01:05:23But give me time, partner.
01:05:25I got wine on my damn pants.
01:05:29What's Phillip gonna think?
01:05:31Where is old Phil?
01:05:33Meeting.
01:05:36Have I given you the tour of my living room?
01:05:40Have I given you the tour of my luxurious home?
01:05:43Yeah, you have.
01:05:44Elegant, modern entertainment center.
01:05:47The perfect addition to every home.
01:05:50Did you find those pictures you were gonna show me?
01:05:55They're gone.
01:05:57Wait a minute, what happened?
01:05:59They're gone.
01:06:02I have been through the entire...
01:06:06Attractively furnished house.
01:06:09Maybe the maid ate them.
01:06:11Or maybe...
01:06:13My husband slipped them into the trash.
01:06:16Are you serious? Why the hell would he do that?
01:06:18Because he knows me.
01:06:21Phillip takes care of me.
01:06:23That's not... That's...
01:06:25That sucks.
01:06:26He's not being mean.
01:06:30He knows how funky I get.
01:06:32Sometimes.
01:06:33Looking through that stuff.
01:06:36It doesn't matter anyway, I know them all by heart.
01:06:40There's my mom when she's little.
01:06:43She has my eyes.
01:06:45Blue-gray with flecks of panic.
01:06:48And here's mom teaching me how to swim.
01:06:52Notice how I'm grafted to her arm.
01:06:55Not a success.
01:06:58And there's a picture of a pony.
01:07:01I don't know why it's in there or who it belonged to, but...
01:07:05There it is anyway.
01:07:08And there's my dad.
01:07:12Scariest man who ever lived.
01:07:16Grown-ups were scared of him.
01:07:20All they ever taught me was how to be afraid.
01:07:24And I went out and found the coping-est man alive.
01:07:28So he could take care of me.
01:07:32So he could get rid of the past.
01:07:35Chipping away at it.
01:07:39All my little quirks and insecurities.
01:07:44Until...
01:07:47Voila.
01:07:49Nothing left.
01:08:02Nothing like a little truth to sober you up, huh?
01:08:10Tell you about my family. I got a brother named Mitch.
01:08:15I think he lives down in Louisville now.
01:08:17Moved 1,500 miles away so that he wouldn't have to loan me any more money.
01:08:22My mama, it's...
01:08:24I put her through so much.
01:08:26By the time I got pop, she just stopped talking to me.
01:08:30She didn't even wait for the trial.
01:08:34I've never met anyone I didn't disappoint.
01:08:40I mean, the best thing, the only thing...
01:08:44About me that I like...
01:08:46Is you.
01:09:00Oh.
01:09:24Oh, fuck.
01:09:27Oh, I wish you weren't so damn pretty, Becky Porter.
01:09:33I know that's dumb and shallow and...
01:09:35I mean, you're a married woman and I'm on parole.
01:09:40Still, sometimes I think...
01:09:46I just wish you weren't so damn pretty.
01:09:56I want to know what you feel like.
01:10:27You are, you are
01:10:31My favorite medicine
01:10:34You are, you are
01:10:38You're where the pledge began
01:10:42You are, you are
01:10:46Just one last time I dare
01:10:49You are, you are
01:10:53You are the trouble
01:11:01You are the trouble
01:11:08You are the trouble
01:11:12You are, you are
01:11:16My favorite medicine
01:11:19You are, you are
01:11:23You're where the pledge began
01:11:27You are, you are
01:11:31Just one last time I dare
01:11:34You are, you are
01:11:38You are the trouble
01:11:42You are, you are
01:11:46You are the trouble
01:12:13I'll cut it out. It's good.
01:12:15It's cool. Look at Diane's.
01:12:21That's a little abstract there, darling.
01:12:23Try drawing the nice man.
01:12:32Ready?
01:12:33Yeah.
01:12:34Okay.
01:12:35Ready?
01:12:36Yeah.
01:12:37Okay.
01:12:38Ready?
01:12:39Yeah.
01:12:40Okay.
01:12:41Dylan.
01:12:42Mom.
01:12:44Gotta go, darling.
01:12:46Okay, I'll see you.
01:12:51What's going on, Jake?
01:12:54It's no good.
01:12:56What is?
01:12:57It's no good.
01:12:59It doesn't work.
01:13:00Wait, wait.
01:13:02Am I fired?
01:13:03Okay, you and me, Dylan, okay?
01:13:06What would you do?
01:13:08Keep the ex-con who talks to himself all day?
01:13:14You're frightening the customers.
01:13:17Look, next time you get a gig, okay?
01:13:20Just let your imaginary friend stay at home.
01:13:24Okay.
01:13:25You gotta start living in the world, brother.
01:13:27You gotta be where you at.
01:13:30You understand what I'm saying?
01:13:31Be where you at.
01:13:32Okay.
01:13:33I'll give you a recommendation if you need one.
01:13:36I won't lie.
01:13:38But I'll say you were honest.
01:14:02Happy, bro.
01:14:07Okay.
01:14:25Hi, honey.
01:14:27I'm your friend.
01:14:28Oh, good.
01:14:29I mean, yes, of course you are.
01:14:32You can tell me.
01:14:33You really should.
01:14:35I honestly, I have no idea what you're talking about.
01:14:38Not at all.
01:14:41Well, everybody's concerned.
01:14:45Is something going on?
01:14:47You can tell me.
01:14:50There's just really nothing to tell.
01:14:54Have you been seeing someone?
01:14:55Oh, God, no.
01:14:56No, no, no, no, no.
01:14:57I couldn't.
01:14:58I'm married.
01:14:59I would never.
01:15:00Oh, I meant a shrink.
01:15:03You're having an affair.
01:15:04Oh, my God.
01:15:05No, no, no, no, no.
01:15:06You don't have to tell me who unless you want to.
01:15:07Diane, honestly.
01:15:08Because I'm very good at keeping...
01:15:09Diane, I'm not.
01:15:10I'm not having an affair.
01:15:11I'm not.
01:15:12Oh, and we never had this conversation.
01:15:13Oh, poor Philip.
01:15:15Oh, I didn't mean that.
01:15:16You know what?
01:15:17You don't have to tell me who.
01:15:18That just explains everything.
01:15:21Explains what?
01:15:25Well, I don't mind telling you now that I know you're not crazy.
01:15:29But everybody's talking.
01:15:31Well, you must know that.
01:15:34Everybody's talking about me.
01:15:36Why?
01:15:37Don't they have lives?
01:15:38Oh, my lips are sealed.
01:15:40They are ziplocked.
01:15:42You don't have to tell me who he is, but is it someone I know?
01:15:45Diane, honestly, I'm not having an affair.
01:15:47I'm not, I swear.
01:15:48Okay?
01:15:49I'm just crazy.
01:15:54Amazing!
01:15:56That's possibly the greatest game of pool I've ever played.
01:16:00Hi, Dylan.
01:16:01Queen of the rodeo.
01:16:03Rodeo queen, huh?
01:16:04What, you came to watch me make pool history?
01:16:08Oh.
01:16:09Had a few pictures, haven't you?
01:16:11You know, my only regret is that I gave up my law practice to become a showgirl.
01:16:16Can I pour myself one?
01:16:18Yeah.
01:16:19Yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:16:20Hey, hey, hey.
01:16:21Have a beer.
01:16:22I'm just going to find this bowl.
01:16:23So, Wayne says that Jake gave you the can.
01:16:24That blows.
01:16:25Hey, donut sister.
01:16:26Where the hell you been hiding that dill pickle?
01:16:27Thank God.
01:16:28Is it time to do crimes?
01:16:29No.
01:16:30No.
01:16:31No.
01:16:32No.
01:16:33No.
01:16:34No.
01:16:35No.
01:16:36No.
01:16:37No.
01:16:38No.
01:16:39No.
01:16:40No.
01:16:41No.
01:16:42No.
01:16:43No.
01:16:44No.
01:16:45No.
01:16:46No.
01:16:47No.
01:16:49Yeah.
01:16:50Yeah, man.
01:16:51We've been waiting on it.
01:16:54Cueball.
01:16:55All right, enough dicking around.
01:16:57Are we doing this or not?
01:16:58Hell, yes, let's do it.
01:17:00Let's do it.
01:17:01Here's the address.
01:17:02I need you to roll up there.
01:17:04Check the place out.
01:17:05We go in Thursday night.
01:17:06Let's do it now.
01:17:08Let's do it now.
01:17:09I mean, what am I waiting for, right.
01:17:11This is what I do.
01:17:12I mean, I'm a criminal element man type, man.
01:17:14Just like you.
01:17:15Like, who am I kidding?
01:17:17Maybe you've had enough, Dill.
01:17:19Maybe you want to head home, sleep it off.
01:17:21Oh, no, I want some action!
01:17:23I want some action, Jackson!
01:17:25Come on, let's get lost.
01:17:27Hey, you can be my mom.
01:17:29Yeah.
01:17:31I mean, I gotta have a mom.
01:17:35See,
01:17:37I got this problem, though.
01:17:39It's the Jiminy the Cricket.
01:17:41It's gonna get all upset with me, man,
01:17:43and I can't go messing with Jiminy the Cricket.
01:17:45She lives in my head with Mr. Cricket.
01:17:47Excuse me, Dr. Cricket.
01:17:49I mean, what am I gonna do
01:17:51when she finds out that I'm just like everybody said?
01:17:53What am I gonna do then, Beau?
01:17:55You got voices in your head? Is that what you're saying?
01:17:57You don't believe me? Donna?
01:17:59He does.
01:18:01Yeah, I have a world of craziness up here, man.
01:18:03So you might want to find somebody a little more stable
01:18:05to be your wire man. Maybe I'm not your guy.
01:18:07I mean, burglary's a pretty tricky piece of business.
01:18:09It's time to shut your mouth now, Dill.
01:18:11I'm getting so sick of everybody telling me what to do.
01:18:13Ugh!
01:18:15Ugh!
01:18:17All right, step back, Dill.
01:18:19Step back. You two,
01:18:21get the hell out of my bar.
01:18:23All right, Wayne, put the gun down.
01:18:25Okay, Wayne. Beau, man, I got a limp on my head.
01:18:27Okay, shut up. Shut up, Lyle. Shut up.
01:18:29It's okay. Everything's fine. Am I bleeding, man?
01:18:31Everything's fine. Shut up, Lyle.
01:18:35I don't care how long we've known each other.
01:18:37You screw this up.
01:18:39Beau, look at my hair, man.
01:18:41Am I bleeding?
01:18:43Beau, man, my head's gonna be all discolored.
01:19:09Diane.
01:19:29Hi.
01:19:31I just got the call that you were here.
01:19:33To what do I owe this pleasant surprise?
01:19:39What?
01:20:09Do you recognize it?
01:20:17Mine doesn't even look any smaller.
01:20:19I never came here again.
01:20:23I was scared.
01:20:25I just felt like
01:20:27there was something here.
01:20:31Something that was here before.
01:20:33I just felt like
01:20:35there was something here.
01:20:39Something...
01:20:41too grown up.
01:20:43Too real.
01:20:47Do you think this is the place I first went nuts,
01:20:49or does it go further back?
01:20:51Come on, you're not crazy, Becky.
01:20:53I was once.
01:20:55Right after college.
01:20:57Before Phillip and I were engaged.
01:20:59I...
01:21:01kind of fell apart.
01:21:05Couldn't deal
01:21:07with being in the world,
01:21:09so I spent some time
01:21:11in a hospital upstate.
01:21:15Rehabilitating.
01:21:19I didn't know about that.
01:21:21Yeah, you missed that one.
01:21:23Probably because I missed
01:21:25most of it, too.
01:21:27I couldn't feel anything.
01:21:29I just lay in bed
01:21:31for three months,
01:21:33trying to work up
01:21:35enough energy to cry.
01:21:41Phillip was with me
01:21:43through all of it.
01:21:45He read to me.
01:21:47He sat with me
01:21:49and tried to get me through it.
01:21:53He probably did.
01:21:55Sure wasn't me.
01:22:01I'm so goddamn weak.
01:22:03Becky, how can you say that?
01:22:05And what you did for me?
01:22:07Have I made your life any easier?
01:22:09Honestly?
01:22:11Yes.
01:22:17You know,
01:22:19I can't read your mind, Dylan,
01:22:21but I know when you're lying.
01:22:23Becky, don't do this.
01:22:25I can't live like this.
01:22:27Dylan.
01:22:29Phillip is my husband.
01:22:33I know you don't like him,
01:22:35but I need to be with him.
01:22:37I need to find him again.
01:22:39Yeah, you gotta do what you're told, right?
01:22:41That's not fair.
01:22:43Fair?
01:22:45I finally, for once in my life,
01:22:47I could see something...
01:22:49something real.
01:22:51And then you tell me I gotta give it up.
01:22:53So how do you call it fair?
01:22:55I can't be with you,
01:22:57and I...
01:22:59I can't play at this anymore.
01:23:01It's not a game.
01:23:03It's not something that you play.
01:23:05What am I supposed to do?
01:23:07You are going to be fine.
01:23:11God, Dylan.
01:23:15You have so much.
01:23:17You...
01:23:19You blew me away.
01:23:23You know that.
01:23:25You...
01:23:27I'm never gonna forget that.
01:23:29Couldn't we just...
01:23:31No.
01:23:33How do you expect me to just
01:23:35shut you off?
01:23:39Because you love me.
01:23:41Because you love me.
01:24:11I love you.
01:24:41I love you.
01:25:11Can we get a whiskey, man, please?
01:25:13The thing is, you come in here
01:25:15and there's always some kind of trouble.
01:25:17Wasn't that what you hear?
01:25:19Not two nights ago
01:25:21you were in here doing your little
01:25:23MMA-style tango with your sons, brother.
01:25:25They showed up, I left.
01:25:27We didn't associate.
01:25:29Dylan.
01:25:31I'm sorry.
01:25:33I'm sorry.
01:25:35I'm sorry.
01:25:37I'm sorry.
01:25:39We didn't associate.
01:25:41Dylan, this ain't a goddamn jail, okay?
01:25:43You done got yourself fired.
01:25:45You're hanging out with known felons
01:25:47and now Lyle is looking to bust your ass
01:25:49all across the desert.
01:25:51No!
01:25:53No!
01:25:55No!
01:25:57Please, no!
01:25:59What's wrong with you?
01:26:01Please!
01:26:03No!
01:26:05No!
01:26:07No!
01:26:11Dylan.
01:26:13Dylan.
01:26:15What the hell's wrong with you?
01:26:17Those bastards!
01:26:19Bo and Lyle?
01:26:21You know what I'm looking at right now?
01:26:23A cell.
01:26:25You tell me what's going on with them brothers,
01:26:27you won't even have to think about it.
01:26:29I'm looking at it right now. I'm in it.
01:26:31This is where they put me
01:26:33because this is where they see me.
01:26:35And then you start blaming the whole world
01:26:37for your crap. Is that right?
01:26:39No. No, this is where I stop.
01:26:43We ain't finished.
01:26:51I want you to get better.
01:26:55Just stop...
01:26:57worrying about everything.
01:27:01Everything's gonna be fine.
01:27:05You just need to be...
01:27:07alone for a while.
01:27:09No distractions.
01:27:11Till you feel...
01:27:13yourself again.
01:27:27Rebecca.
01:27:29I love you.
01:27:35I love you too.
01:28:05Hey.
01:28:07Now we both got lumps on our heads.
01:28:09Huh?
01:28:11It's Thursday.
01:28:13Time to go to work, Dil.
01:28:15I gotta be somewhere.
01:28:17Yeah, and we know where.
01:28:19You know, I told Bo
01:28:21that we should bust you up and leave you there when we're through,
01:28:23but he's got a code.
01:28:25Two hours and comfortable living, Dil.
01:28:27Oh, I need to be somewhere. I'm asking.
01:28:29And I'm answering.
01:28:35Oh!
01:28:49We'll worry about forms later.
01:28:51None of your people will even know she was here.
01:28:53I'm betting she'll be back to normal
01:28:55in just a couple of months.
01:28:57Maybe.
01:29:05Hey, man, is that your laptop?
01:29:07Yeah.
01:29:09I'll get it for you later.
01:29:15We'll see you out, bro.
01:29:17Did you see who was driving that car?
01:29:19No.
01:29:21Okay.
01:29:35Good morning, ladies and gentlemen.
01:29:37Rebecca.
01:29:39We are currently at our cruising altitude...
01:29:41Rebecca.
01:29:45Can you hear me?
01:29:47Come on.
01:29:49Answer me, Rebecca.
01:29:51Dillon.
01:29:55Jesus Christ.
01:29:57Rebecca, what is going on?
01:29:59Dil put me in here.
01:30:01I think he thinks I'm having an affair.
01:30:03So he locks you up?
01:30:05Can he do that?
01:30:07I don't know.
01:30:11I'm afraid of him.
01:30:13I don't know what he's gonna do.
01:30:15God, you feel like you're underwater.
01:30:17What are they giving you?
01:30:19Philip gave me these pills.
01:30:21I took them.
01:30:23He told me to take them, so I took them.
01:30:25Do you know where you are?
01:30:27Yeah.
01:30:29Yeah.
01:30:31I mean, um...
01:30:33I think it's the, um...
01:30:35Heart Power Clinic.
01:30:37It's a mental institution.
01:30:39Your husband ought to be a permanent resident, darling.
01:30:43Are you on a plane?
01:30:45I'm...
01:30:47I'm headed your way.
01:30:51Listen.
01:30:53I need to see the room.
01:30:55I want you to look around.
01:30:57Okay.
01:31:09But is there anything you can do?
01:31:11I understand, sir, but unfortunately

01:32:31You can do it. Just relax.
01:32:33Same Fort Knox. These are simple locks.
01:32:35Oh, um, turn here.

01:33:11Okay, I'll find it.
01:33:13Time to get a move on now.
