00:00PKR Youth has refuted claims of a rift with UMNO youth.
00:06PKR Youth Chief Adam Adly said differences in political views are normal and that there
00:12are no issues between the two youth wings, Burnama reported.
00:17On Saturday, Adam said his UMNO counterpart, Dr. Akmal Saleh, seemed to have a shallow
00:22understanding of the Dewan Rakyat Speaker's decision not to vacate six seats held by former
00:29Barsatu MPs.
00:30Akmal previously said Speaker Johari Abdul's decision meant that the anti-hopping law had
00:36been all for nothing.
00:38Akmal remained defiant even after being told to respect Johari's ruling, saying it was
00:44more important to respect the people's right to reject political frogs whom he said would
00:49ruin the country.
00:51Six Barsatu MPs ceased to be members of the party after declaring support for Prime Minister
00:56Anwar Ibrahim.
00:58The six MPs are Saeed Abu Hussein Hafez Saeed Abdul Fasal, Suhaili Abdul Rahman, Zaharie
01:04Ketchi, Azizi Abu Naim, Iskandar Zulkarnain Abdul Khaled, and Zulkifbri Hanafi.
