Woman SHOCKED when hair curler explodes
This is the moment a woman's curling iron exploded - leaving her hand blackened.
Mikenzie Kerley, 20, was getting ready for work on the morning on May 29 when the electric curler she was using on her hair exploded.
Footage shows the moment the curler sparked and all the lights in the room went out.
Mikenzie, a hair stylist based in Mobile, Alabama, said: "I was so shocked in the moment it happened.
"I wasn't burned or injured from the explosion in any way. I was just left with the black marks on my hand."
It's unclear what caused the explosion but Mikenzie says the curlers were old and the cord was damaged.
