00:03You just said that you have 100 percent confidence in the Secret Service.
00:06Does the President share that confidence?
00:07Have you talked to him about it?
00:09I will not speak for the President, but I know as a protectee, he's incredibly —
00:13I'll speak to that when it's my turn.
00:14Go ahead.
00:15Hi, Secretary.
00:17Can you speak to any enhancements to the President's security for his trip to Las Vegas this week
00:26and other locations?
00:27I mean, how has that changed, if it's changed at all?
00:31And I have a second question as well.
00:33So I'm not in a position to share particulars because we do not disclose tactics, techniques,
00:38and procedures.
00:40But let me say that adjustments have been made to the former President's detail, to
00:46the current President's detail, as well as to the Vice President's detail.
00:49And with social media companies, I mean, terms like deep state have been one of the most
00:54viral terms over the weekend on platforms like X, on Meta.
00:58Has there been any outreach to these companies from administration officials to try and stop
01:03the disinformation or kind of quell it in any way?
01:07Well, the rhetoric that we hear — you know, we are very mindful of the First Amendment
01:13right that is one of the underpinnings of this country.
01:17And so the balance between respecting the First Amendment and actually rhetoric that
01:23can be addressed by these social media companies is something that we deal with on an ongoing
01:30basis.
