07:18They're probably thinking a lot of different things, but we have a message to all of you in the streets that are watching us.
07:25Keep in mind, even if you feel that the deaths of thousands of children in Palestine does not affect you personally,
07:33I'll tell you what does affect you personally.
07:36We have thousands of people in these streets that are hungry.
07:39We have hundreds of people sleeping in these streets, homeless.
07:44We have people that are living paycheck to paycheck, unable to feed their kids.
07:48And yet, this government is taking your tax money and sending it to another country to commit genocide.
07:59At the very least, this should resonate with each and every person that is living in this country.
08:06Because we are all suffering from this inflation.
08:10We are all suffering from the suffocating conditions we have here.
08:14And this is nothing compared to what is happening in Gaza.
08:18And what's happening here is directly connected to what is happening in Gaza.
08:24And beyond this, it's important for us to keep reminding ourselves and reminding everybody
08:30that what we are fighting for is not just Gaza, and it's not just Palestine.
08:36But this struggle is a struggle that is connected to every struggle that is anti-imperialist in its nature.
08:47When we disrupt the flow of weapons to the U.S., we are disrupting the flow of weapons to Israel.
08:57But we are also disrupting the flow of weapons to the UAE,
09:01which is using its forces and funding and arming militias to commit a genocide in Sudan.
09:11By cutting the flow of weapons, we are also doing our part to make sure that what is happening in Congo
09:19does not continue to happen with Canadian tax dollar money.
09:22First of all, I know that Canada, on its own, owns 70% of all multinational mining companies in the world,
09:32many of which operate in the Congo and are behind the slavery and genocide that is happening in the Congo.
09:43This is why we say our struggles are interconnected.
