00:19Despicable Me 4 stayed on top of the box office chart
00:22for a second weekend, bringing in $44.6 million.
00:25It jumped the $200 million mark to finish Sunday
00:28with a North American total so far of $211.1 million.
00:32It's worth noting that a Despicable Me and Minions franchise
00:35has now crossed the $5 billion mark in global ticket sales,
00:39making it the first animated franchise to ever achieve this feat.
00:45He'll kill. And kill again.
00:48Speaking of setting records, the neon film Long Legs
00:51made history at the box office this weekend.
00:53It scored the biggest opening for an independent horror film
00:56in a decade with $22.6 million.
00:59I'm anxiety. I'm one of Riley's new emotions,
01:01and we are just super jazzed to be here.
01:04As for the rest of the chart, Inside Out 2 came in third,
01:06bringing in another $20.7 million.
01:09A Quiet Place Day 1 was fourth.
01:11And while horror and animation dominated the box office this weekend,
01:15the rom-com Fly Me to the Moon debuted to $10 million, making it fifth.
