आम आदमी पार्टी के नेता दुर्गेश पाठक ने कहा कि बीजेपी के सांसदों ने पिछले 11 वर्षों से कुछ नहीं किया और अब ये लोग दिल्ली को तोड़ने में लगे हुए हैं। केंद्र की बीजेपी के अंदर आने वाले DDA ने चाँदनी चौक में इतनी तोड़फोड़ मचाई लेकिन वहां के सांसद प्रवीण खंडेलवाल का कोई अतापता नहीं है। वहीं केंद्र के रेलवे विभाग ने पटेल नगर और बरार स्कावायर के कई किलोमीटर के अंदर नोटिस लगाया है कि हज़ारों झुग्गियाँ तोड़ना शुरू करेंगे। इस नोटिस को लगे कई दिन हो गये लेकिन यहाँ की सांसद बांसुरी स्वराज वहां गईं तक नहीं। वहाँ के लोगों ने उन्हें फ़ोन किया लेकिन उन्होंने फ़ोन ही नहीं उठाया।
