00:06a Comlec official accepted a bribe to favor a poll-tech provider.
00:11On Wednesday, July 17, Garcia says they are compiling all statements related to a, quote,
00:16demolition job, and are waiting for the National Bureau of Investigation's results, which is
00:20looking into the falsified documents.
00:23On Tuesday, July 9, SAGIP Rep. Rodante Marcoleta insinuated that a Comlec official received
00:29bribe money to favor MIRU in the bidding for Comlec's procurement of new election machines.
00:34While Marcoleta did not name anyone, Garcia says, quote, they really didn't name anyone
00:39because they were going after the whole institution.
00:42Last week, Marcoleta claimed 49 offshore bank accounts worth $15.2 million can be linked
00:48back to the unnamed Comlec official, but he also admits the claims have yet to be verified.
