President Marcos has the last say whether the Philippine government should implement or not arrest warrants against Filipinos from the International Criminal Court (ICC), the Department of Justice (DOJ) said on Monday, March 10.

00:00Well, I can only really verify those documents that have come in to the DOJ, and as of today,
00:10wala pa po tayong nare-receive the notice of any warrant that has been issued by the

00:15Kaya po, sinasabi lang po natin that the government is ready kung sakaling magkaroon po ng warrant
00:22of arrest galing sa ICC.
00:24So that if ever there are instructions from the Interpol, and of course dahil nagsign
00:30po tayo sa international agreement na yan, we are bound to oblige and to respect that.
00:35So if ever may request po sila, ang NCB po ang magpaprocess dun, at sila na rin po ay
00:41gagalaw based on that request.
00:44I think the previous briefer that we have given to the President on the pros and cons
00:50of each action, whether to respect the request of the ICC through the Interpol or not, is
00:57something that we already briefed the President on, and it is up to him to interpret that
01:04and to decide which is best for our country.
