00:00Hey look! Thing's got a spring! Here's a look at the Royal Baubles Wednesday Thing
00:05Bauble Fingers.
00:16Why choose ordinary when you can have the extraordinary? Introducing the newest
00:21Bauble Head collection from Royal Baubles. The Thing Bauble Head has been
00:24meticulously crafted to capture the essence of Thing's mischievous charm.
00:27Perfect for decorating your crypt, haunted mansion, or just to keep you
00:31company at the office. Hey, don't point that thing at me. It's got a nail on the
00:34end of it. Just before we get a closer look though at the Wednesday Thing
00:37Bauble Fingers, let's grab the tape measure and see how big this actually is.
00:41While I'm measuring things off, I'd like to thank the folks over at Royal Baubles
00:44that provided this sample of the Thing that we can have a look at in this
00:46review. From the end of what I'm guessing to be his little carrying case to the
00:50very back here, Thing's going to be about six inches in length and that's
00:55going to be translating to about 15 centimeters long. As for its height, it's
00:59going to be a little bit shorter than it is longer. Thing is only in fact
01:02actually about three and a quarter inches in height or about eight
01:05centimeters tall. Strange, strange things we've been looking at as of late. In fact,
01:10the last time we visited the Addams Family, it would just be half of the time
01:13that we looked at the Wednesday Bauble Head. Although you probably can see it's
01:16a little harder to make out Wednesday. You can see though comparing the two,
01:19Thing is a little bit out proportioned. I mean obviously Thing would only be
01:23about the size of Wednesday's hand, but they made it a lot bigger. They made it a
01:26lot cooler and they made each of the individual fingers spring-loaded. Well,
01:30maybe that isn't a hundred percent true. Not all the fingers of Thing actually do
01:34move. It's in fact only the front three fingers that are activated by having a
01:39obviously a little spring there attached to each of the individual digits and
01:42then those are plugged into the main piece of Thing's hand. The little pinky
01:46finger, is that the one that went to the market or the one that stayed home? Oh no,
01:50is that the one that went wee wee wee all the way home? This is the one that's
01:54still attached to the base. The same can also be said as well for the thumb. It's
01:58only really again these three fingers that have an actual spring. Really clever
02:01because looking at this online I thought to myself, well how would they activate
02:05this? How would they make this thing actually a spring? Thinking though first
02:08it would actually be a spring on the back so like Thing's body essentially
02:11would be attached to the back here. But you can see like the inside of this is
02:15completely hollow. I'm guessing again this would be his little carrying case.
02:18This would be then dropped down a little flat and then Thing would be screwing on
02:23his merry little way. On the back you can see it's just as finished as it is on
02:26the front. It's got some nice additional details there also on the top. It looks
02:30almost like it's been done in leather but this is all just hard resin. On the
02:35back and bottom of this in fact it actually says Royal Baubles premium
02:38quality collectibles. You can also check out more from their site at www.royalbaubles.com
02:42There's also as well some rubberized feet. I suppose you could in
02:47theory also have this upright and looking as if Things crawling up the
02:51side of the wall. I'm sure though the correct way and the accurate way of
02:55doing it is having Thing like this and again each one of the fingers actually
02:59do move. Detailing on Thing is really fantastic. If hopefully he can hold his
03:03fingers for a second here so I can show you guys what the details look on this.
03:06Each of the individual fingers look grimy, look discolored and look otherwise
03:10all dead. Some nice little stitches are also added in there as well. You got some
03:14cut lines, staples and stitches and all the Things keeping Thing together. I like
03:19the coloring on this. Even the stump on the top has been sewn completely shut so
03:23you don't see any of the gorier details. It's a really nice looking Thing though.
03:26Again I really wasn't really sure how they would be pulling off a Thing
03:30because half the time, most of the time when we look at the Royal Baubles figures
03:33all their bauble heads tend to be in fact Royal Baubles. They're baubling
03:37only in just the head. When we looked of course at Wednesday, we'll just bring
03:41back in Wednesday here, Wednesday had a baubling head. So Thing is doing things a
03:45little bit different but it works really well for the character. This is one of
03:48those things as well. Oh I see what I did there. It's one of those things too that
03:51if you're having this on your desk for example and you happen to bang it, Thing
03:55then looks like he's come alive. Colors again on this one is really fun. Scaling
03:59obviously is going to be a little out of whack because if you were to look at
04:03Thing and then you would look at say Wednesday, you would know that the sizing
04:06doesn't just quite match. But I do like the way they've actually approached
04:09Thing here. The colors look really good on him and again like there's tons of
04:12cool details. Certainly if you guys are a fan of Thing for example or even just
04:17the Wednesday series, it's a great fun little bauble head to be picking up and
04:21adding it to your collection. Starting first and really liking the look of the
04:25Wednesday bauble head, I have to say I've moved my attention and my interest over
04:28to Thing as being my favorite what we've gotten so far from the folks over at
04:31Royal Baubles. Thing's got personality. Thing's got some creepiness though and
04:35even though Wednesday was a fairly accurate look to Jenna Ortega, I wouldn't
04:39say necessarily the accuracy from a size standpoint is there for Thing but
04:42he more than makes up for it in the details. Obviously the thumb and the
04:46pinky finger are the things that are holding up Thing. He's actually, I don't
04:49know if you can see it or not, he's attached also onto the back of his
04:52carrying case. So that's the thing that's kind of keeping Thing up. Then he also
04:56has the benefit of having baubling fingers. Three of them all in fact all in
05:00the middle and that allows for a little bit of livelihood when it comes to this
05:03Thing being on display. Again you could have this completely flat the way I've
05:07got it right now. It looks also as if you could probably prop this up if it
05:10looks you know what you want to make it look like Thing's crawling up the side
05:13of the wall too but either way it's a really fun bauble head, bauble finger. If
05:17you guys are interested to get this one for yourself, Royal Baubles has now
05:20started selling these Things through various different online markets. In fact
05:23Amazon. Amazon's a good place to get your hands so to speak on the Royal Baubles
05:28Thing bauble head. Let me know what you guys think of this down below in the
05:31comment section. Have you guys also been watching the new Wednesday series and
05:34are you also excited for the new season? If you guys also did enjoy this video
05:38throw it a like. If you guys want to stick around for more we are gonna be
05:41looking at a couple more bauble heads courtesy of the folks over at Royal
05:44Baubles. Make sure you come back on a regular basis. As always guys thanks for
05:47watching. See you guys next time!
