Sonic Battle (with extra voices!) Episode 1: Sonic's Story
While plotting his latest scheme to conquer the world, Dr. Eggman stumbles across a mysterious and ancient robot called the Gizoid. Much to Eggman's irritation, the robot doesn't seem to be operable, and after it absorbs a Chaos Emerald, the villain discards the ancient machine like a pile of garbage on the beaches near Emerald City, home to Sonic and his friends.
Sonic encounters the Gizoid one day while running along the beach, and quickly becomes the target of many individuals seeking the battered machine, including Team Dark members Shadow the Hedgehog and Rouge the Bat. While Sonic deals with these rivals, the Gizoid is handed over to Tails in hopes that the young genius can possibly repair the robot. Upon learning that the robot is powered by Chaos Emeralds, Sonic and Tails set out on a new adventure to find the powerful gems once again, unknowingly falling into Eggman's dastardly plans in the process...
