00:00Hello, good evening. Well, we've seen plenty of dry weather in the east and some sunny
00:04spells too. Different story in the west though, plenty of rain here which has led to quite
00:09a damp start to the weekend. Taking a look at the latest radar we can see we've got some
00:13heavy downpours moving into Wales and parts of the southwest too, so do take care if you
00:18are travelling this evening. That rain will continue to push its way east and northeastwards
00:23and we still could see some heavy downpours as it does so, particularly in the northeast
00:27of England later on in the night. But elsewhere it is turning largely dry, still a fair amount
00:32of cloud around and a few drips and drabs of rain and drizzle. And turning clearer across
00:37Scotland and Northern Ireland just with a few showers feeding into western areas. And
00:42under those clearer skies that's where it's going to be feeling cooler and a little bit
00:46fresher but once again under those cloudier skies that's where it's going to be another
00:49muggy night ahead. So a mild start across central and southern areas and fairly cloudy
00:55too, still with some rain and drizzle on the cards. But this generally turning drier
01:00and that cloud breaking up through the course of the morning allowing some sunny spells
01:03to develop. And on the whole Sunday should be largely dry, still with those showers feeding
01:07into the western coast of Scotland. Different story in Northern Ireland though as the next
01:12area of rain moves in, so quite a wet afternoon on offer here. Now temperatures aren't going
01:18to be as high as they were last week, however where you do catch the sunshine it will still
01:22be feeling pleasant and warm, highs of around 23 or 24 in the south east. As we head into
01:29next week is a fairly changeable pattern. Moving into Monday we do have an area of low
01:34pressure pushing eastwards across the country once again, which means there is some more
01:38rain on offer as we head to the beginning of the working week. So for Sunday plenty
01:43of cloud around, some rain and drizzle moving into the north east of the country, generally
01:48turning showery as the afternoon goes on. But these showers could be quite heavy if
01:52not quite slow moving across Scotland, so you might see some more persistent downpours
01:56here. But elsewhere largely dry, even seeing some sunshine break through that cloud across
02:01the south and south east. And once again where you catch the sunshine it will still be feeling
02:06pleasant and warm. Don't forget for all your latest weather updates you can subscribe to
02:11our YouTube channel, but for now that's it from me. Bye.
