00:00NBC has officially greenlit a spin-off of the popular legal drama, Suits,
00:05focusing on the formidable Ted Black, played by Stephen Amell.
00:08The new series, titled Suits L.A., will offer a fresh yet familiar take for fans of the original show.
00:14The USA Network has also chosen a murder mystery show from the Good Girls makers, Gross Point Garden Society.
00:22Suits L.A. follows Ted Black, who is set to lead a law firm in Los Angeles
00:26after being a former federal prosecutor in New York.
00:29The upcoming series will be helmed by the creator of the original law show, Aaron Kosh.
00:34Post the success of Suits last year, UCP of the Universal Studios Group and Kosh
00:39started the preparations for a second show settled in the same New York set.
00:43According to The Hollywood Reporter, the logline of the series is written as,
00:48His firm is at a crisis point, and to survive, he must embrace the role he held in contempt his entire career.
00:55Ted is surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other
01:01while they can't help but mix their personal and professional lives.
01:05This list of actors includes Lex Scott Davis, Brian Greenberg, and Josh McDermott.

01:18They were also executive producers of the original Suits.
01:21Victoria Mahoney will be the director and executive producer of the pilot.
01:25And according to NBC, the plot follows four members of the suburban garden club,
01:30all from different walks of life, who get caught up in murder and mischief
01:35as they struggle to make their conventional lives bloom.
