00:00Tell us about those conditions out there today, that was pretty appalling conditions.
00:04It was arctic, it was wet, it was not where you should be playing Nepal in.
00:09But effort to both teams, the game is still of a fairly nice standard.
00:14Probably good for us to have a bit of practice in the wet and coming off of last week's disaster.
00:20Yeah, it's probably good for us to play in these conditions because you never know what you're going to get on grand final day.
00:25Well I was going to say, the last two weeks, Mountain South got shit, North Ballarat got shit.

00:33Oh, up until last week I thought we were sitting pretty good.
00:36The game at Mountain South, they came down to a few calls.
00:40Giving them a contact after the siren, letting them shoot for goals, that was one thing.
00:47But we just had our, that was probably our worst game we've played in a long time.
00:51And I don't want to take away from North.
00:53North, they're always going to come out and hit you hard aren't they?
00:56Didn't want to take away from North, but it wasn't like one player had a bad day.
01:00We had a collective day of everyone had a bad day.
01:03And we were prepared, we trained for it, we did everything.
01:07So it was almost like a shock to the system and I think that's what it was.
01:11We couldn't pull ourselves back from the mistakes and they just kept multiplying and multiplying and multiplying.
01:16So we've had to learn from that.
01:18We've all watched the game and gone over it and made our little bits and pieces.
01:21And hopefully we don't fall into that hole again.
01:24Well today I mean you won like a good side.
01:26I mean you've won by 13 goals in horrible conditions.
01:28You'd be pleased that you're actually able to get your game flowing again.

01:33And look we had a lot of rotations too.
01:35Like I rotated that mid-court a lot which changes the flow and the move of the game.
01:40Because you know we're bringing in new people who play different.
01:43But it's good to see that they can all still inject their style into the game.
01:48Or they fit in with the play that's going on.
01:50I just thought there was times when we had to settle when that change has happened.
01:53But you know it's good to be able to know if someone's injured.

01:57We've got a versatile team is what I like.

02:05At the moment they've all come back pretty good.
02:06So we've got Shan back now after she was out for quite a while with her hyperextended knee.

02:13So Shan will bring herself back into the team because it's only about her third game.
02:18So we're hoping that that's just going to get better and better and better.
02:21I thought she had a great game in the wet today.
02:23She was really strong.
02:24That first quarter she came out on fire.
02:28And I thought she might be a little bit worried about her knee.

02:41Half the goal is that wind on either end of the court just coming through so strong.
02:47But you know, considering the weather, I'm not unhappy with how we played.
02:52There's moments that we could have done better.
