00:00So it looks like North Ballarat is a pretty confident game from the start today.
00:03I mean you got up to a lead early and then just kind of continued it on.

00:07How did you feel about today's performance?
00:08Yeah, no, it's good.
00:09Reden, they're such a good team.
00:10Like if you looked at the scoreboard, people say, oh, you know, 15 goals, but the girls
00:16had to really work hard.
00:17They make you work hard for every ball and it's sort of like you've just got to wear
00:21them down, which the girls did.
00:24I did change positions.
00:26I just went to have a look at a few things and the girls settled in well, but we'll take
00:31a lot away from that game.
00:32It was good to have a good hard hit out before we have to buy nets round.
00:36Yeah, of course.
00:37I noticed you were rotating some of the wing attack, all attack, ball attack.
00:40Is that something that you usually do?
00:41I usually don't.
00:42I had to look after, Bridie was coming back from an injury, so I had to look after her
00:47and I just wanted to sort of, you know, rotate and rest her and then just have a look at
00:53a couple of options in case there's different matchups as the finals come ahead, you know?
00:58Yeah, I was actually really impressed.
00:59I think they handled that super well, even, you know, coming out to midcourt from shooting,
01:03they were still feeding the ball back in so well.
01:05Exactly right.
01:06Like for Maddie, our goal shooter, come out to wing attack, she did a wonderful job, but
01:10she, you know, she's got that brain to know, you know, where to move and work from and
01:15to feed the ball into the goal.
01:17And young Eb, Eb done a good job back there in goal shooter.
01:21Yeah, definitely.
01:23So I thought, you know, Redan still played, they did some great defensive pressure over
01:26the ball, especially down the north attacking end.
01:28Exactly right.
01:29Why do you think they were able to handle that so well?
01:31Yeah, I think, well, if we don't put the ball up high to the, because Erin, in goalkeeper,
01:37she's beautiful tall height on her.
01:39If we keep the ball sort of lower, that's how we can sort of work the ball in better
01:43that way.
01:44Yeah, definitely.
01:45So as you say, you've got the bye next week and then finals are just around the corner.
01:47Yeah.
01:48How are you feeling about the preparation going into that?
01:50Because obviously, you know, you're defending the title.
01:51Yes.
01:52Is there any pressure that sort of comes with that?
01:54Not really.
01:55It would have been nice to have a game next week, but I mean, that's the way it goes.
01:58So we'll just have to work a little bit harder at training to make up for that game we lose.
02:03But no, we, it's sort of like, you sort of feel it a little bit, you think, oh, finals.
02:09But once we sort of get going and get back out there, you sort of settle back into the
02:12routine again.
