The hearing of Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor's sedition case at the Shah Alam High Court has been postponed.

This was after the Kedah Mentri Besar's lawyer informed the court that a second representation had been submitted to the Attorney General’s Chambers (AGC) seeking to drop the charges last week.

00:35After the hearing, the court has given time for the Chief Justice to look into the case.
00:46Judge Aslam Zainuddin granted the request for postponement by the MB's lawyer Awang Mahmud
01:06Muhammad Sanusi is facing charges framed under Section 4, Bracket 1A of the Sedition Act
01:261948, and punishable under Section 4, Bracket 1 of the same law, which provides a maximum
01:32fine of up to 5,000 ringgit or imprisonment for up to three years, or both, upon conviction.
