00:00after the visit, was the school for you?
00:02No, it was pretty clear that Washington was a school for me.
00:05There were some other schools that were talking,
00:07but they weren't sure if they wanted,
00:09they could have a scholarship because they have a guy
00:12that was already there on scholarship
00:14and it would have not worked out
00:16where I would have came in on scholarship right away.
00:20So that was the main emphasis for me.
00:23And then also, I mean, Washington is such a great place
00:26and I believe in what they're gonna do.
00:28You're absolutely right.
00:30Did any of the Washington coaches,
00:33I know Papa coaches had ends as well,
00:34but you mentioned you used to be a center,
00:36you started out at center at one point in your career.
00:39Is there any chance that you could return
00:42to the offensive line as well?
00:44I'll be frank with you,
00:44Washington kind of used some offensive line help.
00:46They got a few transfers.
00:48You were not technically one of them,
00:49but you could be an emergency center at this point.
00:52Yeah, I mean, that's one of those things that,
00:54I mean, if they really want me to do that
00:58and get back into that, I mean,
00:59I snap and just mess around for fun.
01:02And it was one of those things that I never really lost.
01:05So if that's something that they want me to consider
01:08as like a emergency center kind of position,
01:13if they're traveling and they need a guy
01:15that's third, fourth string center
01:16that knows how to do something, they can stamp the ball.
01:19Yeah, but I mean, I've been kind of out of the game
01:22at center for, I would say three, four years now.
01:25So I don't know how much of a benefit I would be,
01:30especially against guys that are in college right now.
01:33They weigh a lot more than I do, so.
01:36That is a fair point.
01:37That's why I wanted to emphasize the emergency element
01:39of that, because no disrespect to your game,
01:40but I think we both would say like,
01:42let's just leave them on special teams.
01:44We're good there.
01:45Yeah.
01:46Did you know any of the guys on the team or did you,
01:50and if you didn't, which guys did you get to talk to
01:52when you came up for that visit?
01:55No, I didn't know any of the guys.
01:56So when I was up there,
01:58I got to meet the whole special teams group.
02:00So all the specialists, good group of guys,
02:03very tight knit, I can tell.
02:06And a lot of guys on that staff,
02:09and I should say out of the special teams room,
02:12it was very nice to just be able to talk to them
02:14and hear what they have as a player standpoint too.
02:17When I was up there and not just hear from the coaches,
02:19but hear from the actual players of how they like it
02:22and why they're still there,
02:23what they chose, why they chose Washington
02:26and how their journey has been
02:28over the past couple of years.
