00:00If I'm honest with myself, I think something has felt broken with this bunch since it started
00:05to go bad.
00:06Since it started to go bad and it just kept staying bad and it kept decaying and it's
00:11like I don't think we've been hard enough on the manager and it's weird because he's
00:16so clearly a smart guy and he's so clearly a decent guy, but it's like they fired a manager
00:24and sent the team back out there pretty much as the same core and it's failing and looks
00:30like the team knows it's failing and it's just everybody should be under the gun.
00:35This thing is ugly and it wasn't supposed to be ugly and it gives you big questions
00:40about team building and the smarts of the org and everything and it just it all pisses
00:45me off and I feel very broken by the entire experience.
00:48I had no problem with the conversation about being harder on counsel.
00:51That's fine and we'll have him on the show tomorrow from, from the field, but he's more
00:55proven than anyone on this team that is sure, but the mix is what it's about, but it's not
01:01his mix.
01:02Well, and, but I, I would feel like to me, this offense is not hitting people like, Oh,
01:07we need to see this.
01:08My manager have more fire and get thrown out of the game on Friday for the ball being low
01:12in the strikes.
01:13I'm like, okay, does anyone think honestly that a couple more managerial objections has
01:20this 48 and 53 team that much better?
01:24No, not necessarily, but I do think, you know, whatever could have been done to get certain
01:30players in a better head space where they might be, have better seasons would be good.
01:34I understand that, but they are not hitting and the, they, they, they brought back largely
01:40the same team, but they did add an all-star starting pitcher and they added a guy who's
01:47going to be top six in rookie of the year at, at first base it's, it's, it's Dan's be
01:53falling apart.
01:54It's the catchers falling apart.
01:57It's Christopher Morrell, not taking a leap that he was supposed to take that it has looked
02:02like maybe he would be taking that is not happening.
02:05I disagree with the manager, you know, yelling at Jesse Rogers yesterday, I think he's wrong
02:12about that.
02:13It's just this, this, this whole, this whole thing just, it feels freaking awful and it
02:18annoys the hell out of me.
