00:05Earlier this morning, Typhoon Kareena was the last to pass 320 km east of Vasco, Batanes.

00:14It was blowing strong winds at 140 km per hour,

00:18near the center of Mugso and reaching 170 km per hour.

00:23It was turning in the direction of Ilaga at a speed of 15 km per hour.

00:27And because of Typhoon Kareena, the Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal Number 2

00:33in some parts of Batanes, particularly in Inbayat, Vasco, Mahatau, Uyogan, and Iwana.

00:40Signal Number 1 in the northern parts of Batanes,

00:44in Cagayan, next to Bogoyan Island,

00:47in the northern part of Isabela,

00:50in the northern portion of Apayau,

00:53in the northern portion of Ilocos Norte,

00:56in the northern portion of Aurora,

00:58Ponilio Islands, Calagas Islands,

01:00in the northern portion of Catatuanes.

01:02We are also expecting strong rains

01:04because of Typhoon Kareena, for today,

01:06100 to 200 mm of rain

01:08in Batanes, Bogoyan Islands,

01:10northern and eastern portions of mainland Cagayan and Ilocos Norte.

01:1350 to 100 mm of rain in Ilocos Norte,

01:16Loudnon, Agra, Piquet, Apayau,

01:18eastern portion of Isabela,

01:20and the southern part of Cagayan.

01:22We also have a high warning

01:25in Batanes and Bogoyan Islands,

01:27that's why it's advisable to go to those areas

01:29because it will be very risky

01:31to the extreme of the ocean.

01:34We are also expecting that

01:36between tomorrow evening and Thursday morning,

01:39Typhoon Kareena will land again

01:42in the northern portion of Taiwan

01:45and hours after, it will leave

01:47our Philippine area of responsibility.
