चांदीपुरा वायरस क्या है चांदीपुरा वायरस (Chandipura Virus) आरएनए वायरस है, जो मादा फ्लेबोटोमाइन मक्खी से फैलता है. एडीज मच्छर भी इसके लिए जिम्मेदार है. यह पहली बार साल 1966 में महाराष्ट्र में चांदीपुरा में पाया गयाथा. इस जगह के नाम पर ही इसकी पहचान हुई. इसी से इसका नाम चांदीपुरा वायरस पड़ा. पहले केस की जब जांच की गई तो तो पाया गया कि यह वायरस रेत में घूम रही एक मक्खी की वजह से फैला. 2003-04 में इस वायरस का सबसे ज्यादा केस महाराष्ट्र, उत्तरी गुजरात और आंध्र प्रदेश में देखने को मिला, जब 300 से ज्यादा बच्चों की जान गई थी.

Chandipura Virus is an RNA virus, which spreads through female phlebotomine fly. Aedes mosquito is also responsible for this. It was first found in Chandipura in Maharashtra in the year 1966. It was identified after the name of this place. Hence, it got its name Chandipura virus. When the first case was investigated, it was found that the virus spread due to a fly roaming in the sand. In 2003-04, the highest number of cases of this virus were seen in Maharashtra, North Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh, when more than 300 children lost lives.
